### 1/5 — Can’t see all step files in a folder

The app requires authorization (?) to open step files. It is unclear how to provide authorization to all step files in a folder recursively. In addition trying to open a folder contained within an enclosing folder only shows some of the folders.
These problems make the app useless.

**Developer response:** Currently, batch opening by folder authorization is not supported; only opening one file at a time is supported: select the target file and then click "Authorize".

### 3/5 — No true orthographic, cross sections don't work well

This is FAR better than eDrawings, but doesn't have true 3d orthographic, the orbit camera view frequently freezes, and there's no wireframe   solid view

Indeed, I didn't consider implementing orthographic projection view when developing the app; currently, only perspective view is supported. Based on your feedback, orthographic projection view seems to be a requirement, and this feature will be considered in future versions.

Wireframe is supported. You can switch between Solid, Shaded, and Wireframe render modes by repeatedly clicking the first icon in the second row of the icons area at the bottom left of the view.

Regarding the "the orbit camera view frequently freezes," please describe in detail the specific circumstances under which you encountered this issue so I can reproduce, debug, and fix it.

**Developer response:** Thank you for your valuable feedback! We are pleased to inform you that most of your concerns have been addressed in our latest update (v1.0.11):

1, STEP/STP Export: You can now export parts in STEP (BRep) format.

2, Exploded View Control: We have added a radius setting to the exploded view, giving you precise control over the distance between objects.

3, Component visibility control is fully supported. You can easily hide unwanted parts by using the model structure tree nodes under "Model" in the sidebar. This will allow you to inspect the components hidden behind them.

4, Regarding STL support: The core design and focus of this app is strictly dedicated to the high-fidelity loading and parsing of STEP models. Because STL files handle data quite differently (mesh vs. boundary representation), adding STL parsing is currently not aligned with our focus on optimizing the STEP model experience.

We highly recommend updating to v1.0.11 to try out these new features. Thank you for helping us improve!
