## What is Step Fish?

Step Fish is a fun and engaging way to boost your daily step count. When you reach your daily goal, you’ll be rewarded with Fish Food - a virtual currency you can use to unlock unique creature packs. Each pack contains six different species and comes with a different Fish Food price. Available packs include the classic Fish Pack, the Tropical Fish Pack, the Whale Pack, the Dolphin Pack, the Jellyfish Pack, the Dinosaur Pack, and a Special Creatures Pack.

You can also track your steps from the past week and stay motivated with a streak feature that grows as you consistently reach your daily goals. Personalize your aquarium by choosing your favorite fish, dragging them from your inventory into the tank, or releasing them back with ease.

Whether you're walking for fun, fitness, or the thrill of collecting - Step Fish turns every step into progress.

Added a share button, so you can share you fish with your friends and family!
Also improved the rarity of the different categories.

### 1.3 — 2025-08-26

In this version, localization has been added, so the app is now available in English, German, and Spanish. Additionally, the pack-opening process has been significantly improved by implementing a new type of carousel. The last major change is a home screen widget that displays your current steps and daily goal to keep you motivated!

### 1.2 — 2025-08-19

There is now an onboarding feature for new users, helping you gain a better understanding of all the app’s functionalities.
You can also submit feedback directly within the app, including feature requests and bug reports.
Another new feature is randomized spawn points for the fish when you open the app for the first time, instead of spawning at a fixed location.
We’ve also made several smaller quality-of-life improvements.

### 1.1 — 2025-08-15

The fish have a new spawn animation when releasing them from the inventory or after purchasing a pack.
Fixed a bug, that resulted in no rewards for the daily goal if the goal is not dividable by 3000.
Also some smaller changes that improve the quality of the app have been made, for example the info modal can be closed per click on it.
