### 5/5 — It’s great

*2017-12-07, version 2.0.2*

Not only have I convinced myself that I am getting into shape because I can now see all the walking I did that never made a difference before, but the government now knows all my movements and can snipe me with a laser from 90 thousand feet anytime they feel like it . Hahahaha Awesome .

### 5/5 — Love it on my phone

*2017-11-22, version 2.0.2*

When you think about you go much of anywhere without your phone. Nice not to have wristband. If I wanted one I'd get a watch. If you have a watch, people are wondering why you wear two. If it's an Apple Watch, this is cheaper.

### 5/5 — Great app

*2017-09-27, version 2.0.1*

Great app that tracks steps. It's a good pedometer that measures calories and distance too. I like the new challenges feature to compete with friends.

### 5/5 — Nice!

*2016-07-28, version 1.8.2*

Finally an app that tracks your steps and calories without draining your battery! I check it all the time to make sure I've reached my steps goals. Also- love the color scheme and design of the app!

### 5/5 — Love it

*2016-07-25, version 1.8.2*

Unlike many other similar apps, the user interface is uncluttered, uncomplicated and easy to navigate. Steps makes it real easy to track your exercise progress from how many steps, distance to how many calories you burn. Very good exercise companion. This is a remunerated review.

### 5/5 — this is what I need

*2016-07-25, version 1.8.2*

I've been thinking of buying a calorie counter gadget but I don't need to as this app is what I need. I can easily track my calories burned through the steps and the activities that I am doing every day. Thanks for this free app. This is a Remunerated review.

### 5/5 — Awesome app!!!!!

*2016-07-25, version 1.8.2*

Steps - Pedometer and step counter activity tracker interesting and helpful app. I have used many similar apps and I believe this is the best app. When I downloaded this app I can easily track distance, and calories in an easy to use interface. And I can also compete with my friends to see who can get more steps. Steps - Pedometer and step counter activity tracker are the best app I've ever met in App store. I recommend this app. This is a Remunerated review.

### 1/5 — It looks like a great app but...

*2016-04-28, version 1.6.5*

I think it's kind of bull crap that this app doesn't work on all Apple products. I have a 5c and something popped up on my screen and it said that the app wasn't supported on my device. It's extremely stupid and it's such an inconvenience as well. Other than what what I could see of it looked great and I was looking forward to this but now I'm just left disappointed. I hope the developers fix this problem.

### 2/5 — A Step Backward

*2016-10-07, version 1.8.6*

I was initially a fan of this app: it has a simple, well-designed interface and not too many extraneous features. Then two things happened.

First, I decided to buy the ad-free version. While I was at the gym, I clicked the button that says "Remove Ads," agreed to pay the $1.99, then downloaded the update. The ads disappeared: great. But then as I resumed my workout my iPhone went to sleep (as iPhones do). When I went back into the app, the ads were back.

I tried closing out of the app altogether, and when that didn't work I turned my phone off and then back on: no change, the ads still appeared. I tapped the "Remove Ads" link again and the app reminded me that I had already purchased this feature, and would I like to download it again? Yes, sez I. And lo and behold, the ads disappeared. Until I clicked out of the app. When I came back to it, there they were again.

I mean, it's only a couple bucks that were taken from me, and I realize it's first world problems we're talking about, but still: I'd like to keep the feature I paid for.

Secondly, I went to the App Store. And guess what? Plenty of competing pedometer apps to choose from. I reckon one of them may work better, and may even have as elegant an interface as Steps. We shall see.

### 2/5 — Try again

*2016-02-20, version 1.5*

I got this a few days ago, specifically because it's based on the accelerometer. It didn't take me very long to discover that this app doesn't register all the steps I take. At this point in time, I'm guessing that it misses as many as 20% of my steps inside my house. Don't know if it's a problem on the accelerometer side or the app side. I need to try again to find an app that's more accurate.

### 3/5 — Used to Love It

*2019-10-23, version 2.3*

This was a very good counter until it started to drop a complete day for no reason. Still use it, but not good for historical data

## Most praised reviews (10 highest-rated)

### 5/5 — Nice app

*2020-05-29, version 2.3*

I like the app because it is simple to use. If there was anything I wish it had it’s the ability to see at what speed you are walking during a workout.

### 5/5 — Mince

*2019-12-31, version 2.3*

Good

### 5/5 — Handy no-fuss app

*2019-10-27, version 2.3*

Easy to use. Totally non- invasive. Thanks!

### 5/5 — Best app

*2019-10-22, version 2.3*

I love this app keeps up with my every step

### 5/5 — Great app, except...

*2019-10-17, version 2.3*

One issue; does not always sync perfectly with health app. Will look and one or two days suddenly show zero steps. Ongoing issue.

### 5/5 — Steps has no support

*2019-05-25, version 2.2.1*

I have used Steps for over a year and I like the design and the features. However the app is supposed to track your history of steps by day and there is a flaw in their system and no support. Every week or so the app drops or deletes a day of history ( it did it again yesterday) and I have sent messages on 3-4 occasions to ask for assistance but they ignore all messages. I have deleted the app and reinstall it a couple times and that old trick doesn’t work either.
I have resorted to installing a couple of other apps for tracking my steps and would advise others to do the same if you really want to track your effort.
If it wasn’t for this bug and lack of any support they would have a good product.

### 5/5 — Easy to Enjoy

*2019-01-05, version 2.1.1*

From Maui to Greece, this app can be trusted to enlighten you to your daily activities and let you set goal steps leading to a confetti celebration!

### 5/5 — Wonderful app.

*2018-10-23, version 2.1.1*

Excellent application to starter physical training.

### 5/5 — Such a neat way to keep track

*2018-08-04, version 2.1.1*

This is so much fun. Watching the steps turn and the weight come off

### 5/5 — Perfect

*2018-04-23, version 2.1*

I've been using this app for 1 year and it has worked perfectly.
I've tried several step counter apps and this one has been spot on with distance.
It also adds approx 50% of the calories burned to the 'calories left to eat' on my MyFitnessPal app which is awesome.
