I know there are free 2FA apps on the market, but I wanted one that felt like the Mac/iOS environment and was a bit more easier to use. Well, this was the app. Once you see the code you want a simple click and it's ready to be pasted into the browser or app. It's worth the price just for that!

I’ve been using this app for my 2FA codes for a few years now and I have no complaints. The UX is simple and delightful. It stores my 2FA codes which are also synced via iCloud so I can access the codes via the app on my computer. It does what it’s supposed to do. And best of all, no subscription! When I needed to store more than 10 2FA codes I paid the one time purchase for unlimited codes. Very happy.

Loved this Authenticator app when I first downloaded it and started using it over a year ago; uncertain whether or not an update is in the works, but something is needed to get the app to function as it is / was intended to. For the past three months, every.single.attempt made to use this on accounts set up for it, absolutely none of them work. So I cannot access accounts it is attached to. Very, very frustrating, as I’ve had to to use other ways to access the information I need. If i could give this *zero* stars… or even a negative number, I would.

Step Two is hands down the most minimal yet reliable and functional two-factor authentication app I’ve ever used.

As someone who (1) is very irritated by having to do MFA, and (2) has gone through a couple in search of the least abrasive one, Step Two is in the all-time favorites for my apple devices. Everything is simple to look at, big without being clunky, and copies just by tapping the numbers. I don’t have to look at or click through anything I don’t want to. It syncs seamlessly, and the Apple Watch integration is a godsend. 

My one request would be further integration with the Shortcuts app, or some optional keybinding - a shortcut to automatically copy a pre-set account would truly make this perfect.  Someone else mentioned a FaceID lock - would be cool, but would have to be optional or I take back everything imo.

Works great on my iPhone and MacOS! I was looking for a new Authenticator app ever since Authy dropped desktop support. Step Two is the best one I found. Bonus: Safari plugin and it syncs across all your Apple devices using iCloud so no need to add the same account multiple times on multiple devices! I love it!
