## What is Step Up Sunderland?

This app enables users to take part in Step up Sunderland, a challenge which aims to make Sunderland more active. Anyone who lives, works and studies in Sunderland can take part.

Our app will sync with with HealthKit and the Health app on your device to automatically capture your steps. There’s no minimum number of steps. Everyone can participate in a way that works for them. The aim is for people to be more active.

With this app you can:
• Track your steps automatically through our integration with HealthKit and the Health app on your device.
• Add your steps to Sunderland’s grand total.
• Get rewards.
• Join a team – Team Coalfield, Team Sunderland East, Team Sunderland North, Team Sunderland West, Team Washington or Team Non-Residents.
• See if you have made it to the team or the overall leader board each day.

So download the app and join in
• Be part of the city-wide challenge.
• Receive rewards.
• Have fun.
• and improve your physical and mental health along the way.
