## What is Step Words Ladder?

Step Words Ladder is a word transformation puzzle. You're given two words of the same length — a start and a target. Your job is to get from one to the other by changing one letter at each step. Every intermediate step must be a valid word.

Start with the basics (CAT → DOG) and work your way up through five difficulty tiers, from three-letter warmups to six-letter brainteasers. Every puzzle has an optimal solution — finding it earns you three stars. Not every path is obvious. Some puzzles twist through words you wouldn't expect.

Come back daily for a new handcrafted puzzle. Keep your streak alive, collect hint tokens, and unlock new puzzle categories as you go. Want to challenge a friend? Create your own custom puzzles and share them through a tiny text code.
