I had an unexpected charge show up for a subscription I didn’t even realise I had. This doesn’t show as part of your account settings and is cancelled by “unfollowing” people with no indication that they are a pay feature. Feels in violation of app payment and transaction process. ### 1/5 — Cancellation *2025-09-27* Got charged for service I’m not using and didn’t realize was on my account. Tried cancelling before the subscription date and not a single person will respond to my emails. ### 2/5 — Good idea, poor execution *2025-09-01* This could be a sort of “Goodreads/Letterboxd for food” where you can follow influential critics etc and see recommendations - what it actually is is just a list of restaurants that the people you follow (some at a cost) have ticked, with no context, rating, ranking or review attached. You also pay a monthly subscription for certain people (eg. Topjaw) only to access substantially less information than in their free video content elsewhere.
