Stepa is a step counter built around the people you walk with. No weight targets, no burn charts — just the number of steps you took today, and how you stack up against your mates.

Truthfully, I don’t really see the point of Stepa.

If you need an app to motivate you to get outside, walk, or be active, maybe the problem isn’t your fitness, it’s your mindset. I’ve been active for years and have never needed an app to tell me to move or “explore.”

To me, it feels like another unnecessary app encouraging people to rely on technology for something they could simply choose to do themselves. With AI making it easier than ever to build apps like this, it feels like there’s a new one every week trying to solve problems that don’t really need solving.

Social media has turned basic activities into trends, when sometimes all you need to do is get up and go.

Just my opinion. 👍

This app has been awesome so far. Very clear UI and a really fun leaderboard where you can track other’s steps vs your own. I plan on buying the Pro before a trip to Barcelona because it takes you on “Tourist Loops” to make it easier exploring places.

As someone who’s trying to be more active this app has been incredibly helpful, being able to generate new walks, with stops such as coffee shops, pubs you name it! Has been getting me and my friends outside more even when we are working every day. Couldn’t recommend it enough, the walks are great, frequent bug updates etc so it runs super smooth!
