StepByStep is such a great resource for me as a Traveling Occupational therapist! I work in different settings and this app is easily accessible and appropriate for all settings, whether I’m on contract working pediatrics or with adults. Easy set up, great data collection, customizable as well! Highly recommend!

**Developer response:** Thank you for the kind words! One of the challenges we wanted to solve was creating a tool that could work across different ages, environments, and therapy goals. Hearing that you're able to use StepByStep whether you're working with children or adults is exactly what we hoped for when rebuilding the app. Thanks for sharing your experience and for supporting StepByStep!

*2026-06-04*

Neuro OT here! I’ve had great success using this app with stroke and brain injury patients. The sequencing activities address key cognitive skills needed for functional task performance. I love using it as a prep activity before practicing the real-life task. Well-designed, engaging, and clinically relevant.

### 5/5 — Can be used across multiple settings!

*2026-05-28*

I’m an SLP and have been able to use this with my students for sequencing, narratives (making a story based on the images), and even for some artic kids using carrier phrases! I also like that parents could use it for children who need help with sequencing and maybe even who need to see a visual “routine.”

**Developer response:** Thank you so much for your thoughtful review! We're thrilled to hear that StepByStep is supporting your work with sequencing, narratives, and daily routines across different settings. It means a lot to know the app is helping both professionals and families. We appreciate your support and feedback as we continue to grow and improve StepByStep.

### 5/5 — Useful tool for daily routines

*2026-05-05*

I’m an OT in a school setting and used the older version of this app for years to work on sequencing and functional routines with my students. I was excited to see a newer updated version released. I’m impressed with how much cleaner and easier it is to use. I like being able to track progress over time and export PDFs to save student documentation and my notes. Looking forward to seeing how this app continues to grow over time.

### 5/5 — Easy & Helpful

*2026-05-04*

We’ve been using this app with both my husband and our grandson, and it’s been really helpful. My husband has some memory and processing challenges, and the step-by-step visuals make everyday tasks easier for him to follow. Our grandson is on the autism spectrum, and he responds really well to the same format.

It’s easy to use and just makes routines smoother for everyone. I didn’t expect one app to work for both of them, but it really does.

**Developer response:** Thank you so much for sharing your experience. One of our goals with StepByStep has always been to create a tool that can support individuals across a wide range of ages and abilities, both at home and in professional settings. Hearing how the app has helped your family means so much to us. We truly appreciate your support and are grateful to be a small part of your daily routines.
