StepGate requires an iPhone with iOS 17 or later. Steps are read from Apple Health /
Motion & Fitness (read-only). App blocking uses Apple's Family Controls framework with
individual authorization — you managing yourself.

• StepGate Plus: gate unlimited apps, full stats and trends, and your whole streak
  history. Start with 7 days free.
• Fixed: the blocked-app screen now shows StepGate's own screen with your steps-to-go,
  instead of the plain iOS "restricted" message.
• Clearer: hitting your goal unlocks your apps for the rest of the day. The app used to
  say "4 hours" in a couple of places, which was never how it actually worked.
• Removed bypass passes. They never worked on device, so they're gone rather than
  pretending. "Pause goal until tomorrow" is still there when you need a day off.
