What happened to the code that lets me connect to the dance machine? It’s gone from its usual spot and I can’t find it so I can’t use my custom settings, only scan the qr code at the end to log my score.

Barely usable & very buggy on 2025 iPad. Looks like a blown up iPhone 4 era app.

The real problem with this app is a complete lack of a “bug report” feature within the app, so I feel like the only way anyone will ever know about the original problem is by slapping it with a 2-star review even though I honestly think it deserves about 4 still, even with both problems. So the original problem (right now) is that when I go to the Locations section to find out information about places that have SMX, while the basic information for a location comes up, neither the Website, Open in Maps or Source buttons work. I thought this nominally poor review would be the absolute only way to draw any attention to either problem whatsoever in the absence of an actual “bug report” feature for this kind of problem.

First off, editing Full charts is a nightmare. I shouldn’t have to scroll left and right to see all the notes. Just let it display like it does when viewing someone else’s edit. 

The second is that cool features like “compare” and setting a rival are burried in a bullet menu off to the side rather then on the player profile you’re viewing.

Love the app! I only have 2 complaints that would be nice to have. Saving scores and having a leaderboard for teams would be awesome. Also, if you could change the scroll speed on the apps custom charts just to view that’d be a nice change. Other than that it works pretty well!

When I tried to scan a qr code on the machine it said please try again I done it 5 times and the same error kept popping up every time I scanned it

It’s a great app for tracking your scores, progress and improvements. The app runs smoothly and shows a lot of data in various formats. It’s a must have for anyone who plays Step Mania X. The newest update allows you to automatically upload your score to the app after you do an initial scan.

Does exactly what it says it will do. Doesn’t rely on your nearest cabinet having internet access, and the scanning is super fast. Having all song and record information available without having to be near Stepmaniax makes planning a lot more convenient.
