StepMeterX is a clean, private step tracker built entirely with SwiftUI — beautifully designed for everyday walkers who want to move more, track it simply, and actually remember their best days.

STEP TRACKING
• Live step count using your device's built-in pedometer — no Apple Watch needed
• Syncs with Apple Health for accurate daily totals
• Progress ring shows how close you are to your daily goal at a glance
• Numeral roll animation updates your count in real time

GPS WALK SESSIONS
Start a walk session and StepMeterX maps your route live on the map. See your time, steps, distance, and pace as you move. Three GPS modes to match your needs:
• Battery Saver — pedometer only, maximum battery life
• Balanced — auto GPS when moving
• Precision — always-on GPS for accurate route mapping

WALK JOURNALS
After every walk, jot down a single line to remember it — "Rainy morning," "First 10k," "Walked with Dad." Notes appear in your history alongside the stats. All stored on your device.

HISTORY & INSIGHTS
• 7-day and 30-day step history with bar chart
• Tap any bar to see steps, distance, and calories for that day
• Average and best day summary

A dedicated Records tab tracks everything automatically:

CHALLENGES
Set private solo challenges — no social, no server, just you:
• Weekly step targets (auto-scaled to your personal goal)
• Streak milestones: 5, 10, or 30 days in a row
• Single walk goals: 5,000 or 10,000 steps in one session
• Total distance: walk 10 km or 50 km since you started
• Progress rings visible at a glance — auto-complete with haptic feedback

Set your daily step goal from 5,000 to 15,000. StepMeterX suggests a goal based on your lifestyle — sedentary, moderate, or active.
