## What is StepPet?

StepPet is a gentle walking game: every step you take helps a mystery egg grow. Hatch a bunny, a black cat or a shiba, raise it all the way to adult, add it to your album and start a new egg.

• Little finds: every 2,000 steps you pick up something on the way — maple leaves, rice balls, a lucky cat… 24 finds to collect
• Stamp calendar: reach your goal and get a stamp; a free rest stamp every week, because rest days are fine
• Snacks & bond: a snack every 1,000 steps. Feed and pet your buddy to grow from “Just met” to “Family”
• A buddy that feels alive: it keeps nodding softly, and a gentle side-to-side rub makes it squint and pop hearts
• Home Screen widgets: today’s steps, distance, activity rings and weather in pastel colors that follow your theme
• No pressure: no streak resets, no guilt notifications — your pet is never sad because you didn’t walk

Privacy: StepPet only reads steps, walking distance and activity rings from Apple Health and never writes. Everything stays on your iPhone — no account, no ads, no tracking. Weather uses only an approximate location with Apple Weather.

One-time purchases (not subscriptions): extra color themes and the New Friends pack (hamster, tanuki, penguin). The full game is free.
