## What is Stepply?

Stepply is a platform built on the pillars of health, socialization, and monetization, designed for people who want to build healthier habits but struggle to stay consistent on their own. In the app, users can create and join real-world health challenges such as group walks, workouts, wellness routines, and other physical and mental activities.

Each challenge is designed and organized by a creator who defines the goal, rules, and dynamics of the experience. These creators act as real-world health event organizers, promoting activities that encourage people to move, take care of themselves, and grow together.

We integrate with your Apple Health app, which allows you to check in using health data captured by your Smart Watch and synced with your Health app.

Participants join challenges to practice healthy habits individually or collectively, tracking their progress and interacting with others throughout the journey, with the opportunity to make real connections both inside and outside the app. The more dedicated the creator is in organizing and leading the challenge, the greater the community engagement tends to be.

Stepply connects people through real health and wellness experiences, turning routine into purpose, consistency into growth, and everyday activities into shared journeys.

## Version history (last 5 releases)

### 2.7.0 — 2026-10-02

Now Stepply allows organizations, with fully featured brand filters in checkins.

### 2.6.2 — 2026-09-02

Various performance improvements

### 2.6.0 — 2026-09-01

Stepply now has geolocation!

This means a challenge activity can now require check-ins to be done at a specific location.

Challenge creators now have 2 different ways to use geolocation in an activity:
- Check-ins can only happen within a radius around a specific location
- Check-ins simply send the participant's location, and the challenge creator can moderate them on the feed screen to verify that check-ins are following their challenge's specific rules

To ensure full transparency and privacy, we always ask for your permission before collecting your location on every check-in that requires geolocation.

The location required by the activity is always displayed by tapping the Pin icon during activity selection.
Every geolocated check-in listed on the feed screen also displays a Pin icon, showing where the participant checked in.

Using health data (collected via wearables) is now more intuitive and easier to understand: we've added several visual cues to improve the experience.

### 2.5.0 — 2026-08-27

- Expanded the list of wearables supported in the app
- Improvements to the check-in flow and health data collection
- Challenge creators who are not participating in their own challenge can now moderate check-ins submitted by participants (reset scores or delete them)

### 2.4.0 — 2026-07-17

Improved user communication.
