### 2/5 — Close to perfect (I know you might say why 2 stars)

*2026-08-18, version 1.7.68*

So I think I downloaded this app for the same reason many people have.

They are dissatisfied by lack of widgets for the standard iPhone health app.

This does that great and actually has several of the widgets I wanted (daily steps, average day trendline comparisons, week comparison)

What I see it falls short is the widget refresh rate. As far as I can tell it does not refresh the widgets so you need to open the app to see them.

At that point why have the widgets? Thats why two stars. If the point of the app to a person is the widgets and the widgets don’t add functionality but only add the appearance of functionally I give two stars.

### 3/5 — I LIKE THIS APP BUT...

*2026-08-16, version 1.7.68*

This app works great but there is no support when there's a problem. I live on the 2nd floor and use the stars several times a day but the app never shows my stair climbing activity. When you click on "Get Help" it pops back out to the activity screen. Hate this!

### 4/5 — Partial upgrade

*2026-08-14, version 1.7.68*

The system does not record or reflect Flights any longer. Is this by design ?

### 3/5 — It’s cool but.

*2026-08-13, version 1.7.68*

I like it I like the design but every time I log in a workout it stops counting the steps for the rest of the day and next day

### 5/5 — Dar

*2026-08-12, version 1.7.68*

Love and walked this App for over six years!!

### 5/5 — Richard

*2026-08-12, version 1.7.67*

Great little app to monitor your progress towards your walking goals

### 5/5 — Add steps

*2026-08-11, version 1.7.67*

Make a feature to add steps. I don’t wear my phone when I play golf.

### 4/5 — Mileage compared to Steps

*2026-08-09, version 1.7.67*

Steps

### 5/5 — Solid Step App

*2026-08-08, version 1.7.67*

A very good step app. Well designed and shows a good history… daily, weekly and monthly.

### 5/5 — Paid for two instances

*2026-08-08, version 1.7.67*

Had this app since it came out. It’s a great example of how to avoid the wretched excess of creeping featurism. It tracks your daily movement as well as deliberate workout snippets, and little else. You don’t have 500 buttons to find. It’s simple.

Try this. Then send the couple of bucks.

### 5/5 — Good Tracking

*2026-08-07, version 1.7.67*

This app is help me a lot with burning fat so I don’t have to calculate how many steps I do manually.

### 2/5 — Doesn’t work

*2026-08-06, version 1.7.67*

Somehow, this app deletes your steps. I have been using it to track my steps. When I go to see my history it will delete most of my steps. For example this week, I have done over 10k steps a day, when I went back to check it says I’ve done 3-4k a day. It’s frustrating because I’m trying to keep record of my goal to do 10k+ steps for 30 days straight

### 5/5 — My time

*2026-08-06, version 1.7.67*

I love this app

### 5/5 — Best Thing

*2026-08-06, version 1.7.67*

I have been using this step tracker for over a year now and find it is easy to use and setup.I recommend using it for your daily routine.

## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated)

### 1/5 — Bad upgrade no longer tracks steps

*2026-08-20, version 1.7.68*

No longer tracks steps since upgrade

### 1/5 — False information

*2026-08-19, version 1.7.68*

I’ve been using this app for many years, but really started paying attention to it in the last 2+ years. I have my daily step goal set at 8k per day. I usually reach that on a daily basis, often go over. Recently, during a conversation, a few people and I started talking about the amount of walking we do daily and when I mentioned my step goal was 8k, I was told that they walk closer to 14k-15k per day, in the same facility, same kind of role, except they report to me. The red flag is, I know I walk a lot more, move a lot more and do a lot more than the people under me, I am their “boss” and I set an example. So I purchased a belt clip step counter, and also purchased a wrist strap health tracker ( I won’t mention the name, I’m not a paid advertiser) and the iPhone steps app was insanely low. The belt clip steps app was way over double what the app counted and the wrist strap health tracker was around, or a little under half of what the app said. This can’t be a coincidence. I started to make sure I had my phone in my pocket for the last month to make sure it was “counting” my steps. Still way low compared to the other counters and the other people who had different apps. Is there something I am missing or doing wrong, or something that should be calibrated?

### 1/5 — Flight

*2026-08-17, version 1.7.68*

I walk up and down in my apartment in the stairwells, up and down 4 floors. SometimeS it tells me I have done zero flights or one flight. I’ve done a lot more than that. How come it doesn’t record it

### 1/5 — Data just matches Apple Health

*2026-08-11, version 1.7.67*

This app is redundant—it just syncs with Apple Health. It’s Just use Apple Health, it’s already on your phone and has all the same info and more. I’m deleting.

### 1/5 — Terrible app!

*2026-08-09, version 1.7.67*

This app is Always Lacking in steps, information and it just stopped working altogether a few weeks ago! Doesn’t even log in a workout that it’s supposed to be tracking! No alerts, it would continue a workout even though you were done hours later but won’t register steps for the day. Again a Terrible App!

### 1/5 — Cancel pro upgrade

*2026-08-08, version 1.7.67*

I am 85 years old and apparently I clicked on something accidentally so now I’m paying monthly for something I don’t want or need. How can I stop this? I can’t find a way to go back to basic.

### 1/5 — Very sketchy

*2026-08-05, version 1.7.67*

This app works 1/2 the time. I’ve already walked 6400 steps yet it does not show on this app. So it skews my data. Like I did nothing. About to delete it altogether

### 1/5 — Errors

*2026-08-04, version 1.7.67*

Since 2023 this app is not mapping my activity. Today I went for a long walk twice but only around 2600 steps got registered

### 1/5 — Tracker not working

*2026-08-04, version 1.7.67*

My I phone shows all history but has not recorded any information since the end of June. Why?

### 1/5 — Stops tracking

*2026-08-03, version 1.7.67*

It stops tracking in the middle of the day, then keeps asking me to allow permissions whenever I open the app. It would have been 5 stars before this started happening
