It lets you really get hands on with my music. I have all three of his FX apps: Swoopster, Stereo Designer, and Echo Pad. They all provide unique sounds that make my music sound awesome. This particular app Stereo Designer allows me to shape the sound of my BASS GUITAR and give it that extra scoop in the low end. I like the light, simple, easy to use apps that have come out because they work so well with AudioBus. You can string together Apps just like you would with a bunch of FX pedals for a guitar. ### 5/5 — Yes *2014-04-05* Had an incredible jam with a great friend tonight. Try running a synth or drum app through it. Use an audio interface to process guitars, hardware synths, or even a signal from your desktop DAW. This app is unique in what it can do (as far as I know) in the App Store. I'm a big fan of this dev's previous apps but to me this is the most useful of all: I'm primarily a guitarist & have been craving a way to get stereo widening for my guitars on iOS - there hasn't been a really good way to do it until now, but this app meets that very specific need wonderfully. Yes, you can double track guitar parts and pan hard left and right manually (& I will continue to do so at times) but this app is extremely useful for creating that elusive very tight stereo panned effect! Fan-ruddy-tastic! This is really top drawer & would make a fine addition to ANY recording set-up (let alone iOS recording). Can also add depth & sparkle to any other types of sounds, instruments or recordings - I'd highly recommend this app to any iOS musician. NB. Do remember to check your stereo recordings on a mono speaker as well though - what sounds amazing on a pair of stereo headphones might sound downright weird on a mono speaker. ### 5/5 — Great *2014-02-14* This is exactly what I needed. Habe ein ipad 2 mit ios7 und habe auch nicht vor weiter upzudaten.. Leider lässt sich die app nun nicht mehr öffnen.. Bitte eine stabile version für ios13 zur verfügung stellen.. Immerhin mal dafür bezahlt.. Traurig sowas :( **Developer response:** Please consider trying the latest version of Swoopster released late April 2024, which is v1.3.6. Has brought new life to my field recordings with the ability to tweak the stereo field and more. The only drawback is that the app hasn’t been updated in sometime and occasionally come across a few stability bugs. Nothing that can’t be solved with a reboot of the app, but still, can be a little frustrating. It’s worth it and hope the developers keep giving it some attention, unlike other similar apps that simply disappear with a new iOS update. **Developer response:** Hi, you may consider updating to the latest version of Stereo Designer v1.3.6, released in late April 2024. This update fixes the stability problems that were occurring when running on newer versions of iOS. This developer's apps are not on the level of fancy, expensive VSTs used on a desktop computer. I'm a little concerned about small apps that tweak 1-2 parameters. With the new audiobus you can string together a few in a chain, but I wonder if that is more stable than a single app with in app purchases for every new mini app they make. I think the layout and concept of Turnado is more ideal if you want to spend a few more bucks ### 5/5 — Had to write a review for this magical app! *2016-10-13* Hearing your audio do these wonderful things in the stereo field, is inspiring and beautiful. You get many different tweakable flavors of stereo design with a little something for everybody. Works great as an IAA in Auria these days, and it's always been rock solid as an effect in Audiobus. Just remember, a little selective stereo widening goes a long way :) Easily worth 5 times the price. Quality apps, low footprint, constant updates. Stereo Designer is no exception.
