I have never, even in my student days 35 years ago, heard breath and heart sounds as clearly as I can now.
  The Steth IO is the stethoscope I will recommend in future to everybody, and if any Doctor is suffering with any hearing loss (be honest now....), then the Steth IO is a must have.
Thank you to Steth IO, for giving me back my hearing and hopefully with time, greater objectivity in my examination as I get acquainted with the software and the visuals. Not to mention recordings in order to compare for subtle changes, particularly with chronic lung diseases.

I love that you are able to adjust the volume on Steth IO, it makes it easy to hear murmurs you might miss with a regular stethoscope. Patients also love being able to see what I am listening to on the iPhone screen and includes them in the process.

Steth IO brings stethoscope to the 21st century! When this app is used with the appropriate hardware sold by the company, it makes your iPhone into a high-end stethoscope. 

You can listen to heart sounds by attaching your wires or wireless headset to it, but more importantly you can visualize the heart sounds as a phonocardiogram.

You can also save your exams and share them with a specialist. 

Easy to use app with awesome heart and lung sounds and compelling visualizations!

I used this to track my resting heart rate but the app kept changing scale meaning I couldn’t play back. It would cut off the writing and buttons making it useless. Shame.
