## What is Stewart Golf?

Developed by Stewart Golf specifically for use with the SmartPower technology in its new Q Series Follow trolley, the free-to-use app lets you monitor and optimise power both on and off the course.
 
Information is passed directly from the SmartPower battery to the app via Bluetooth: you will get real time data on voltage, current, and temperature and the overall % of available power remaining is clearly displayed for you.
 
You can set your own low-power reminder to ensure you never forget to charge and your own high-temperature warning to alert you if your SmartPower battery is being over-stressed.
 
Once you put the SmartPower battery on charge the app measures and displays % progress so you'll always know how long is left in the cycle. Long-term capacity relative to original manufacture is also displayed, enabling you to assess realistic battery lifespan.
 
Finally, “Technician View” allows you to pass crucial cell performance data back to Stewart Golf if required.

The app is not consistent with charge information. Initially after full charge, it reads 70% and then halfway through a round it reads less than 1%, but after cycling power it showed a higher percentage.

There is no issue with the app. It shows battery percentage as advertised. Just make sure the battery is in the cart and turned on then it will pair and show battery percentage. It does not pair otherwise.

Connects to the battery on my Q follow maybe one at out 100 times. It’s supposed to notify me when below 30% never once happened. Yes I have notifications turned on. So the app is completely pointless. For a trolley that costs nearly £2k it’s embarrassing for Stewart golf.

Like everyone else, this is a terrible app! Every time you open it you have to re-register which takes an age and isn’t easy whilst walking with your trolley.

When it finally works the information could be a lot better displayed and made easier to understand by Stewart.

This is working for me however it requires me to register every time. Stewart support told me this is working as designed.

As per previous review this app is not worth the effort. It does not work efficiently and the fact you have to complete registration every time you use it, renders it a waste of time. 
It would be nice to know the status of you battery but not to the inconvenience and annoyance endured. 
Get time back and don’t bother! Nil stars I’m afraid.

When I initially installed it worked nicely. One hour later I went to check the status of the battery charge. I had to register, again. I closed the app after checking. Guess what happened? Yup. I had to re-register. Happened every time I closed the app. I have now found if I exit out of the app using the 3 bars in the top left corner of the app I no longer have the above connection problem. It’s let to be seen if it’s accurate or close to accurate.

It makes no sense to require a user to provide first name, last name, country, zip code and email every single time just to log in to the app. Why not just require the user to enter username and password to access like every other app. Even allow Face ID.  Antiquated.

You do, of course, have to have the battery on, and Bluetooth enabled.  When I powered up the battery and opened the app it notified me the battery wanted to connect to the app, I pressed OK, and got the screen that told me it had 4650 mA and was 60% charged.  Seems to work fine.
