The app does not accept same address for residential and postal address and no option to make them the same! Also, the app button for contact us doesn't work and enters none sense customer ID!

Would love you to take some tips from westpac. I’m forced to move due to my mortgage being with St George but I really don’t like it. It’s definitely not made simple like westpac is. Really dislike it and hope that you make it easier to use very soon!

A mess of native app and web pages accessed via the app that kind of work sometimes. But mostly don’t. Sometimes you’re getting logged out to use a feature. Or documents simply don’t download and you have to kill the app because there’s no timeout. Or you reopen it after doing something else and it’s just a white screen.

Tapping iOS notifications from the app don’t take you to the transaction info. They take you to the notification settings in the app. What were the devs thinking?

Feels like a bunch of project managers have utterly failed to comprehend how a banking app should work.

Update: the developers response, suggesting I “uninstall and reinstall the app” is hilariously telling about how the app is managed by St George. I’m criticising the app and its UX guys. It’s a badly written app, not an issue logging in or some cache needing clearing.

I have been using this app for years and never had any issues, it’s very easy and useful, only thing if there was an update so you can hide other accounts while logged in instead of them showing that would be awesome and more privacy, as I have multiple accounts when I’m logged in being able to hide the amounts and account details, this would honestly top this app, hopefully it happens

The app feels cheap and extremely outdated. St George doesn’t provide anything good. No good rates,  terrible customer support and a extremely cheap app outdated app

It still works well on iPhone but I have had it with being shut out in the middle of a transaction. The other comments make it clear that Westpac is no longer actively supporting St George, and they will wait for an opportunity when there is a recession/ banking crisis to shut it down without government interference.

Dissapointed that the other 4 major banks have connectID that you can use to verify documentation and St George doesn't offer this. 

This means you have to enter your license in for some apps to verify your ID which is not safe having all that information out there. Will be changing banks as St George obviously doesn't offer the same type of security as the other 4 major banks for online safety. Very dissapointing.

I cannot think of a single positive experience I’ve had since moving to St George. The app is slow, buried on menus and sub menus and is just a poor front for the website. The customer service is somehow even worse. Stay away at all costs
