## What is STIB?

The STIB-MIVB app is all you need to get around Brussels by metro, bus, tram or train. New: you can now purchase your tickets in the app. Click and go with the STIB-MIVB app 

Buy tickets and be on your way immediately
- Your ticket is immediately available in the app. Quick and easy!
- You can buy your tickets whenever and wherever you want. This way, you always have a ticket in your pocket.
- You can purchase Brupass (XL) 1 or 10 journeys via the app. If you take public transport every now and then, buying a 10 journey ticket is a tad cheaper. How nice is that?

Stay tuned
- Keep up to date with the app: you'll find real-time info not only on the STIB-MIVB network, but also on SNCB-NMBS trains and TEC and De Lijn buses. So you always know when to leave!
- Save your favourite lines and stops and find your way around the app and Brussels even more easily.  

Find the route that suits you best
- Plan your journey from A to Z and choose your own departure date and time.
- The interactive map also indicates De Lijn, SNCB-NMBS and TEC stops with real-time departure times. Never miss a connection again.
- The shortest route, with the fewest connections or the least amount of walking? You're in control of your preferences.

Reload and consult your MOBIB card
- Connect your MOBIB card to the app and see how many journeys you have left or how long your season ticket is still valid.
- Whether you have a season ticket or a ticket, you can simply reload your MOBIB card via the app. Please note that it will take at least 24 hours before your ticket or season ticket is available on your MOBIB card.

Travel smoothly
- Would you like to know in advance whether the escalator or lift is working? Via the "Info" tab, you can see in real time how accessible the station is.
- For buses and tram lines 7 and 9, the app tells you the degree to which a stop is accessible.

L’app ne se
met pas à jour depuis quelque temps, elle demande en continu des mises à jour. D’autre part, il y a tellement de modèles d’app simple qui fonctionnent très bien que on ne voit pas trop ce que cette app apporte. Je préférerais employer l’app belge et STIB, mais ce n’est pas l’app la plus simple et la plus pratique. Dommage. Quand on lit tous les avis quasi exclusivement négatifs, on se demande pourquoi on n’a pas une app qui fonctionne convenablement. Cette app est à l’image de notre pays en fait !

After buying a 10 pack of tickets, you often do not have access to them.  It’s like the app looses track of the purchases linked the STIB account.

### 1/5 — App doesn’t allow access to digital tickets

I have purchased 10 digital tickets in the app and almost every time I open the app and go to the digital tickets section to access my tickets, I am given an error message and I can’t use my purchased tickets, requiring me to pay a higher price at the station. I used to be able to sign-out and then sign back into my account and the problem was resolved but now it doesn’t work. The app is updated and I have even tried restarting the phone, deleting the app completely and reinstalling but it doesn’t work. I tried to report the my problem but their website says that my wallet ID from the app is not valid. The app chooses when it wants to work and there is nothing the user can do to resolve it, so I don’t currently recommend using this app for digital tickets.

Repeatedly shows a red banner with a warning stating: “An error occurred.  Please try again.”.  This used to periodically happen when trying to access tickets - which was incredibly embarrassing at the ticket barrier at busy times.

With the latest version it now happens when logging in to the app (logging out and back in a few times used to coax it into working.

Are there any alternative apps to support brupass purchase and use?

Nach Auskunft meiner Bank entspricht der Sicherheitsstandard dieser App nicht den Bestimmungen der UniCredit, daher ist die App für mich als Tourist unbrauchbar.

À la base assez utile pour savoir quand les différents passe au transport et pour acheter des tickets digitaux mais depuis un moment, il n y a plus la possibilité de voir le temps en direct. Même l accès à savoir les lignes galèrent.
