However, in the 2 hours I’ve had it I have only been able to play two, TWO matches! I have tried playing 20 times but after about 30 seconds of it searching for an opponent I was still waiting. It has a lot of potential, the graphics are incredible, the game play very fun (in my 2 games) but opponents are scarce. I’ll move on to another disc golf game. ### 2/5 — Keeps disconnecting *2020-08-04, version 1.1.1* Fun game maybe, but keeps disconnecting when playing against others. Disconnects at least 3 times as often as not. And if the game knows there is another player seeking opponents, why does it take FOREVER for the game to search for opponents?!? Now the game declares me to have lost when neither player has made it in the basket yet. It only allows play against other opponents which it never seems to be able to find. You can spend as much as ten minutes or more waiting and never get to play. It would be great if it had a computer opponent option like games from the old days. ### 3/5 — Won’t Connect to Multi-Player? *2020-04-05, version 1.1.1* I was in love with this game up until last night. Now all of a sudden the game won’t connect to the server? Mid-range is realistic but definitely the hardest. Putts are a piece of cake. Overall it’s done well, just need more players to play against bc you can wait on an opponent for a while. Great game for avid dilf players. ### 2/5 — Can’t reuse discs *2020-04-01, version 1.1.1* This game has some nice graphics and smooth game mechanics. It has some great potential if it was given a bit of a makeover. The last good review I saw for a year ago. This game doesn’t let you reuse discs! When you get a disc you get a number of “discs” of that type and they’re “used” once they’re thrown once. That is the stupidest game mechanic ever. ### 2/5 — The game is fun when it works correctly. Don't buy coins the game will take them from you. *2020-03-23, version 1.1.1* It takes 2 or 3 minutes to play a match/battle and I get kicked out once every 3 matches on a good day. Many times I will get kicked off at the very beginning(before a disc is thrown) or as soon as the match is over and in both cases the game keeps your coins even if you win the match. The game has 25 free coins you can collect every hour and a daily free spin where you can win coins or game cash. These are the only two ways to get coins without the game completely shutting down on you. They have other free offers such as downloading another stickman game for 1000 coins but it doesn't work and you have to restart the app. I've downloaded 3 different apps and haven't received a single coin. The game is fun when it works correctly but it's frustrating when the app keeps closing on you... its 50/50 ### 2/5 — A generous 2 *2019-11-22, version 1.1.1* Great gameplay. Great graphics. But I’m very close to deleting this game, as I spend more time watching ads than actually playing the game (partly because there’s nobody to play against). Also, when you’re forced to watch ads, there’s no way to close the ad without being sent to the Ad Store, and you’re forced to restart the app and watch ads all over again. Sorry, but I’ll take a cut-rate disc golf game that I can actually play rather than be conned into just watching ads. Please fix now. ### 3/5 — The company takes your money *2019-11-02, version 1.1.1* I really like the game being that I am a disc golfer. That is the reason I still gave a rating of three even though I don’t agree with the following. I can be in a game and my connection or their server drops. I use to get those coins refunded, but now I just Lose them to a competitor. How is that fair when I actually paid real money for the coins. I believe there may be an FCC or other governing body complaint here. ### 2/5 — Stupid ads *2019-10-19, version 1.1.1* This game was awesome until you guys added the ads. I can understand an ad or 2 here and there but they pop up everywhere. In the beginning there’s ads that come up in a different orientation that don’t allow you to “x” out of them. Fix it! ### 3/5 — Good game no active players. *2019-08-07, version 1.1.1* I liked a lot about the game. The few things that could be changed is the ability to change the shape of your shot, better disc selection, and more active players. Took me 3 weeks to get to lvl 5 because there was no one to play with, then there was no one playing the events. ### 3/5 — C’mon already *2019-06-14, version 1.1.1* Fun game when it lets me play. It hard to advance, when it won’t select a live opponent for me to play! Kinda frustrating, would be nice to have cpu player to play against when this happens. ### 3/5 — Glitches are ruining the game *2019-05-25, version 1.1.1* This is overall a great game!! I have had it for about 10 minutes and I got an ad. I thought oh no big deal because I knew there would be ads. But the ad appeared sideways on my screen and cut off the edges of the ad. Therefore since the edges were cut off I could not press the X button to close the ad. The problem is that there is an ad when I open the game every time so therefore the game is basically unplayable. I hope this gets fixed! On a good note the game is a lot like real life! I play in real life so I know. One other suggestion is that you can switch to left hand and if you could switch to forehand that would be awesome!! Also if you could add real life discs like my favorite the innova star colossus distance driver. ### 3/5 — Needs Work *2019-05-13, version 1.1.1* The environment and the golf “hole” look great! The characters are cute and work just fine. Issues: 1) the aiming technology is inferior, much too hard to figure out how to aim successful. Golf Clash uses a wonderful aiming technology these guys need to look at their game. Aiming should be easy the hard part should be hitting “perfect” on the player and accounting for the wind and obstructions. 2) I played about a dozen games and only saw two holes; the training hole and the first game hole. I will probably try to play a few more times but with the frustrations around aiming I will probably ultimately delete the game. This will be a shame as they’ve got the beginnings of a great product. It takes far too long to find opponents, the matches take too long. Searching for a opponent for like 30 minutes and never getting one. Everyone else is racking up points in tournaments but I can’t because I can’t play against anyone. Try to fix it. However when attempting to join the Hourly tournaments or pro players events no matter how many other players are present I can never join. I have waited up to 40 minutes. Today there was 1 player in the hourly event so I joined and searched for opponents for about 10 minutes. When I canceled I notice the other player left the lobby, so did I. Then I noticed one player in the Pro players event so I joined. 5 minutes passed and I was still searching for opponents, when I backed out it said there were now 5 other players. Why was I never selected for a match? ### 4/5 — Addicted *2018-10-19, version 1.1.1* I absolutely love this game and have been working great for the last few days since I downloaded it but just last night and today it’s been SO glitchy, wont let me purchase an awesome offer. Tried getting in several times with it just “processing” but nothing happened. It crashed about 6 time on me tonight already and getting frustrating. It’s only happening with this app. I also dislike that they put you in a different spot where you actually landed (sometimes it helps you) but screws the other player over. Castle on the pro players there’s a glitch where if you hit the castle and lands next to the basket it pops you on the other side of the wall on your next turn and impossible to win after that. I haven’t had that issue as I take a different route but 3 players had that issue that I witnessed. Beside the bad connections and crashing I LOVE it but please fix! ### 4/5 — Glitches *2018-10-08, version 1.1.1* As others have stated not sure how it decides to put you after throw. At times opponents have been under a bridge and poof next shot throwing from the top of the bridge. Way too long to load opponents. ## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated) ### 1/5 — Have to restart phone after opening app each time *2023-05-05* For some reason, this app won’t let you close out of it, forcing you to restart your device. Also, there aren’t enough users to get a game when you click the play button. It just searches and searches until you restart your phone and delete the app altogether, which is what you should have done in the first place. Never freaking downloaded it. ### 1/5 — Not worth it *2021-11-28, version 1.1.1* I actually play disc golf, and when I saw this I was curious, but as soon as I started playing I felt so uncomfortable worth it. It’s terribly designed and just really cheap. The Home Screen is so confusing I can barely tell what’s going on. You can tell this game is bad because there’s never anyone in any of the lobbies. If you manage to get in, you will find that almost no one else did, and therefore you can only train. Might get into an actual match once every blue moon. It does not allow for you to Anheuser, the power bar should allow you to control the curve of your throw. The aiming should just be that. To aim in the direction of your throw and then you can curve around objects. But no. That isn’t a thing on this game. Try to complete the gameplay correctly before you rush this to an App Store. Why can’t I play against any of the supposed 30 other people on the server? Just endlessly going from course to course, searching for opponents, rarely with any success. The number of times I’ve opened the app to play and had to give up after 5 minutes of searching without being paired to an opponent...lame! Too bad, because it is otherwise a fun game...☹️ Fun game but, can’t seem to find other players. I join a game with an odd number, say 3, it searches for opponents for 1-2 minutes, I leave and the game has 5 players. Why can’t I join up with anyone? On the odd times it finds an opponent I enjoy playing, or otherwise just practice rounds, but not reliable and I think it’ll become boring quickly since there is no one to play with. ### 1/5 — Crashes *2018-09-18, version 1.1.1* This is by far the best disc golf game I’ve found. The only problem is the app crashing ALL THE TIME! That and I’ve had problems with people killing their data connection to the game mid match after they throw a bad shot and it refunds my money when I’ve got a guaranteed win. Because each course is only one hole. A very small player base you will be waiting a long time to play someone typically and there is no anhyzer or hyzer shots available its just straight shots only unless you buy discs that can do different things. Takes forever to load partners to play against, the free spin on cash prizes ALWAYS lands on 100 coins and nothing else and nobody plays any course but the first one. If you’re going to make a game with options, utilize ALL the options and make it true random instead of the same thing every time!!! This game is meant for toddlers that steal mommy’s phone so they can look at the pretty colors and the goofy little clown golfers.
