And there should be their logo in the center. After 5 seconds, the logo zooms in, then disappears. After that, The word says “GOAL” Then the letters space from each other. Then it shows the scoreboard. On the easiest level for a season, it counts all of my opponents "goals" even though they're nowhere close to scoring and counts all of my shots misses when the puck CLEARLY WENT INTO THE GOAL. The Badge for Dallas is supposed to be a Star with a D on it and the colors are green and black, and white! The islanders are orange and blue, the Caps are red white, and blue, and the bruins, are yellow and black, once the game is updated, please change it to the real badge. This game also needs some updates as well. But most importantly the ads. Every time I hit the x on the top of the screen A NEW ONE POPS UP AND ITS SO ANNOYING. So please get rid of the ads. Ads never show up unless your at an inner mission or you choose to watch. When you score the team celebrates which is neat. I love hockey and this is by far the best hockey game. But, I wish it would give stats on the player and if you get 3 goals hats would appear then if you skip then they would be gone. That is the only reason I take away a star. I love the game over all and would recommend it to a hockey fan. If this game had stats I would give it five stars in a heartbeat. I rolled through teams, and won every tournament. I gave this game another shot and downloaded it. I hopped into a quick game match and couldn’t see the top third of my screen with an ad. I know game developers need to make money, but when you can’t see the net you’re shooting at, it eliminates all the fun. Were we having issues with dominance or shutouts? Game is fun to play but not when you have to constantly worry about adds ruining a nail biter or intense game. Seriously need to fix that issue. It’s fun and addicting. I really like how this game functions and I am good at video game hockey. A few suggestions are we can create are own logos and make team names for the teams. OVERALL this is a super fun game. 🏒 ### 5/5 — Love it *2018-12-12, version 2.1* I love this game. Been playing a long time and now I challenge myself a little differently. Basically I can win every game in the pro season. My last season I lost one game. But now I challenge myself to see how many points I can score in one game. My record points in a game is 27. Once you figure out how to score, the game becomes pretty fun. But you also have to learn how to defend, pass, and check. Get these down and your all good. The two things I don’t like is how it seams that the opponent can dodge your checks so easily and how fast they can get shots off like a machine gun. The other thing is that I wish there was a record tracking. Like wins-loss-tie. For instance my last season would look like this: 28-1-0 FYI: for those who have a hard time scoring. The best place to score is at the top of either circle. You man has to be pointed straight north at the top of the circle pull the trigger. The other way to score is is to shoot with the center iceman in front of the net. When the puck gets to him, he’ll grab it. Then quick as a wink pull the trigger again. There are other ways of course. Deflections off your own or the opponents players are common ways to score too. The real key to score: shoot as much as possible. I average 60-80 shots per game. My highest shots in a game was 97. I was trying to get 100 shots that game but just fell short. ## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated) ### 1/5 — Terrible game *2023-03-20* This game is a piece of trash. First of all, on easy mode there team is pretty much unstoppable. Whenever I try to check someone my player doesn’t do anything. So they go down the ice on a 5 on 1 and whenever they shoot they have someone at the net who instantly picks up the rebound and scores. But whenever I shoot and my player picks up the rebound and I press the shoot button my guy freezes and then get checked by the goalie. And whenever my goalie passes it to my team all my team freezes. This is a trash game and nobody get it ### 1/5 — Watched videos but still got ads *2022-03-27, version 2.9* I didn’t like the feel of the controls, but would have stuck with it if not for the ads. I watched three videos, as offered, in order to remove the banner at the top. At least that’s the ad I figured they were referring to. It’s intrusive as heck and makes seeing the full ice surface impossible. After every period there’s an ad, I wouldn’t mind if there’s an ad after every game but it gets to the point where it’s not enjoyable. The reason I didn’t say 5 stars is because, I was just in a match and it’s like the game already has a winner before it starts. I shot every which was to the goalie and played perfectly yet I had no goals... ### 1/5 — Was fun! *2019-08-03, version 2.5* Was fun until the last few days, now there’s a huge add across the top of the screen making playing useless and frustrating. BTW: annoying the hell out of me with obnoxious adds makes me NOT purchase the product... it actually makes me stay away from the product!! ### 1/5 — Dont waste your time *2019-04-14, version 2.4* I seldom write a review but this game is an embarrassment. Stickman basketball was fine but this game is garbo. Defensive play is nearly impossible as the AI often backs behind the net and it doesn’t pick the correct player so you just pray your lackluster goalie, which progressively gets worse as you increase the difficulty, While the enemy gets better, makes a save. The stupid ad on the top of the screen makes passing forward impossible while trying to play defense is total luck since you cant see the player coming. Ads really are a massive killer as it appears whenever you pause or most annoyingly finish a period. Shooting has minimal skill and is also luck, if you make it into the zone that is without going airborne from getting harassed by the opponents perfect checking that is. Passing offensively is hit or miss as 1. The speed is way to slow and 2. Its wildly inaccurate. Skating is also confusing and hard to maneuver with, board play gets you stuck and when you are skating up the zone you just get back checked. I downloaded this game twice and deleted it twice, don’t waste your time on another money grab lackluster hockey game. ### 1/5 — Fun game but ads kill it. *2018-11-25, version 2.0* I don’t mind playing a free app and having to watch ads to keep it free but with this app I was constantly being pulled from the app to the App Store or another website and couldn’t continue to play. It was fun until that all started. Now I have deleted it. Hopefully that gets fixed. ### 1/5 — Embarrassing bad game *2018-10-27, version 1.8* Stick man basketball was a great game but this one is absolutely awful. First the ads cover the top of the screen and half the time you can’t see your player and the score and time is constantly blocked so you never know the score or time left. Ads pull up on your screen in the middle of a play. Pausing the game also results in an ad. The player gets stuck and can’t skate behind the net, the hitting is useless and doesn’t work. Passing is basically irrelevant because the accuracy is so awful. Would give this game -100 out of 5 stars if I could. Without purchasing this game, you have to deal with an ad across the entire top of the screen while you are playin a game. This makes it annoyingly difficult to see where the opposite team’s players while you are attacking. There is an option to watch a video and remove all ads for 3 hours. I watched 3 videos, and still have ads annoying me. DO NOT ADVERTISE NO ADS JUST TO GET PEOPLE TO WATCH A VIDEO, AND NOT DO AS YOU SAY. Terrible. Ads that block gameplay experience? Yea thats a no for me. Play a 10 second video before each game, i could care less. But when the ads prevent you from being able to actually play a game, then no thanks. Uninstalling this trash until the deva figure out better places to put ads. No point in keeping the game when i cant play it. ### 1/5 — Poorly written and designed game. *2018-04-11, version 1.8* Game hasn't been well thought out. Player A.I. doesn't play their positions very well especially on defense. Often would find my defense backing all the way behind my own goal. The game on Easy is too easy and when you switch to medium it doesn't make your opponent tougher it makes your team weaker. Your goalie becomes a siv regardless of rating. And your players will hit the post almost every time. Gameplay is subpar. Passing and shooting is hit or miss. It’s fun, challenging, and enjoyable. Even though the win face off back to D skate around everybody, skate to the left and fire a slap shot to the right move works 70% of the time in a sort of unstoppable move and the fact sometimes when you’re skating to an open puck, your controller malfunctions, it somehow makes it more enjoyable.
