But even then, stock prices are 15 minutes delayed. The ability to transfer funds seems very limited; outside accounts are shown to be synched, but still can’t transfer cash. Customer service was friendly but had very limited explanations for the fund transferring limitations. And can’t seem to view individual stock information, it’s just a blank screen. The UI is intuitive and pretty easy to navigate. But overall, the app is woefully basic and buggy. ### 2/5 — Limited Functionality *2025-02-19* This app is adequate for checking your balances…and that’s about it. But even then, stock prices are 15 minutes delayed. The transferring of funds abilities seem very limited. Outside accounts are shown to be synched, but still can’t transfer cash. Customer service was friendly but had very limited explanations. The UI is intuitive and easy to navigate, but the app as a whole is enough to make you want to transfer your holdings to another online broker that has much more functionality. ### 2/5 — Display too busy and confusing *2024-03-23* Accounts at a Glance not accurate showing linked/user supplied accounts. Why even have Accounts at a Glance when there are so many other account options to display? I do not have a Stifel Bank account but I have multiple Investment accounts. I Cannot hide non existent 0 balance bank account line. Slow to load. Too many drop down/top and bottom menu options that are duplicative and not intuitive. Linked accounts are not updating with current balances even though showing that they are synced. The print is too small and really hard to see on the white background. Harder to navigate than the previous version. I went to App Store to download and after loading, the app Home Screen only loads “half” on my iPad 😩. Does not inspire confidence in the programming or security. The site goes down once or twice a month. It instills no confidence that Stifel is a well-run company. The poor secretary of the office that I deal withIs on the phone every day to Stifel trying to get bugs worked out for different clients. Has anybody ever tried the Target app? That is an amazingly well written and organized app. In the years that I have used it I have never had a problem. Stifel please get your act together! This has been going on for two years. Inexcusable ### 1/5 — Unable to access accounts *2022-06-11, version 7.3.5715* Registered and still unable to see my Stifel account information. What’s the purpose of this app? ### 2/5 — Not impressed *2022-05-04, version 7.3.5715* Was able to link only one external account out of 4. Face ID is enabled but after some time of not using the app (hours) it requires the password again. It isn’t very user friendly as far as displaying what I want to see and verbiage. Needs work. Just came to Stifel to follow my advisor so I’m stuck with this app. I hope they work on it. ### 1/5 — Total Garbage *2022-03-17* First they eliminated easy to use app with quick read dashboard. Now they have new app that doesn’t have readily available information and hard to find if even there. Instead of taking cue’s from Robin Hood app they go in the opposite direction. If I didn’t really like my Stifel broker I would leave this company and still may if they don’t get their IT act together ### 1/5 — Stifel Employee Review *2022-03-01, version 7.3.5713* Stifel is a wonderful firm to work for. Sadly our tech team is in the dark ages. SWT is the latest example. ### 1/5 — Support lacking/does not work properly *2021-12-16* Used to be able to link outside accounts, but now it won’t allow. Got lucky once when a pop up warning said it wasn’t working properly and provided a phone number to support. Other than that, good look finding a support contact. Called support and lady had me delete the outside account and re-link. Now it won’t recognize it at all. Support said they would make a ticket to have it worked on. Never heard back from them. This is a poorly made app that is awkwardly laid out and does not properly function, as well as MIA support. I have used other major financial apps and they are way better than this one. I do not recommend this app at all. ### 1/5 — App does not reflect real value of accounts *2021-12-09* This app has always been buggy, not letting you log in, not correctly loading data from linked accounts, but now it does not even correctly load closing prices of funds held into your Stifel accounts. (Edit: 10/6/25 and the endless multi-factor authentication text code requirements for iPad continue. But now the codes are taking minutes to arrive and are stacking up. iPhone has no log-in problems. The new layout is hard to navigate, hard to see what account is what. It was simple and easy to see at a glance. This new version is AWFUL!!!!!! 3/13/23 ### 1/5 — Not useful anymore *2024-01-22* The app worked just fine until maybe two updates ago. Now the information is a jumbled mess with different numbers superimposed in each other. A lot of the functions simply just won’t work now. For example, I am not able to access any of my account documents. The app as a whole is nearly unusable; I only use it check account totals now. ### 1/5 — Incomplete and Incorrect *2023-12-15* Two years ago I gave Wealth Tracker two stars. Now it’s one. There is no information available about closed end funds. If you enter a CEF symbol, it tells you it cannot generate information on that symbol. I’ve complained about it for well over a year but it’s never been fixed. So if I need information on a CEF, I need to go elsewhere. Also for your projected income, it figures in special dividends as the actual dividend so that the projected income is incorrect most of the time. Haven’t had a lot of time to look at it yet but had to come here to ask that you please remove the side “need help” floating button. It’s definitely blocking text on the screen which requires scrolling to see it. Annoying. How does that get missed? The more I look at it the more I’m hating it. The text is really way to small and that horrible floating “need help” button is just in the way and so distracting. Still the info displayed is jumbled and hard to read. Layout is just meh. My fidelity account syncs fine but does not display my CD purchase and all of my stocks and stock awards in fidelity show up as $0.00. Not sure what’s up with that. Benefits Wallet/Bank of Mellon is not available to add as well as Guild Mortgage. This is more of a plaid/company issue but would like to be able to link those accounts. This is not a ding on the app but a feature not available yet that I’d like to see is the ability to transfer funds to my accounts from my bank. Currently I have to call my advisor to do that. I’d prefer to fund my accounts myself then call my advisor on purchases I’d like to make. Original review: Was able to link only one external account out of 4. I am not going to link my other financial accounts to this app: that would be a threat to my privacy. The old site had less but the information was money easily accessible. ### 3/5 — Better, but needs work *2020-06-11* This app adds some nice displays to the old Stifel client access app, and allows links to accounts outside of Stif, but it is buggy, and some of the displays still need work. For example, daily change and unrealized gain/loss should be on the same display.
