### 4/5 — Small and efficient

*2026-04-21, version 1.5*

A good simple timer. Unfortunately the timing bar (an analogue circle) no longer works and the number font is very light so it is now hard to read.

### 4/5 — Nice and simple; just needs an update…

*2022-12-08, version 1.5*

Love the app. Please update to support iOS 16 features (doesn’t show up in Focus Mode Allow lists for some reason, doesn’t know about Focus Modes, etc)

### 3/5 — Lack of notifications

*2020-11-15, version 1.5*

This would be a great app for the watch, however it has a lack of notifications. One of the biggest issues and meditation is regaining a sense of focus during a session. The phone app has the ability to set off multiple chimes signify the beginning and end of the session along with check and chimes to regain your focus. The watch version of the app fails to make use of the haptics and the noise on the watch. It is simply a timer that logs in minutes for mindfulness. If do you shortcomings could be fixed, it would be a great app.

### 4/5 — Apple Watch version doesn’t ring at start

*2018-07-28, version 1.5*

Although the bell rings at start on my iPhone, it doesn’t on my Apple Watch, even though the sound is on and turned up on my Apple Watch. How can I fix this?

### 3/5 — Fix Health data flaw

*2018-01-30, version 1.5*

Unfortunately, this is the only watch app with a proper interface for silent meditation, and it also records exercise minutes and false calorie burn readings while meditating, screwing up my health data.

### 3/5 — Needs resume on both screens of Apple Watch

*2018-01-09, version 1.5*

Love this app but one big bug: There is no resume from the still page. if you leave the session to try to adjust it on Apple Watch without pausing or stopping, you can’t go back and if you hit begin to try to resume you have 2 sessions running at once with timers on watch vibrating concurrently I.e. if you had 1 timer on your session, 2 will go off on your watch, one from the first you started and one from the second.

There is a vibration on the Watch for the reminder but not when the meditation ends.

### 3/5 — Great, should run under lock screen

*2017-10-22, version 1.5*

Simple design, and useful, clean settings. Many meditation timers drown in too many features and settings in a complicated UI, or don’t offer enough settings.

On the downside, I didn’t find a way to have it run under lock screen. I prefer to switch the display off (to save battery), but the timer stops when you turn the display off.

### 3/5 — Simple and effective, but a battery drain

*2017-04-06, version 1.5*

I like the simplicity of this app, but you can't turn off the screen without putting the session into pause mode. Leaving the screen on drains my battery.

### 3/5 — Meditation is not a workout!

*2017-03-26, version 1.5*

This is a lovely app but the Apple Watch version logs the time as both workout and mindful minutes (despite my only allowing mindful minutes in the phone app). So this messes up your activity targets and wastes battery by constantly measuring heart rate. Not sure if this is a fault with the app or Health Kit. But it means I'll be sticking with my original meditation timer app on my iPhone. Such a shame as this appears to be a really good app and is free but just doesn't meet my requirements.

### 3/5 — Perfect Except for one Fatal Flaw

*2017-03-09, version 1.5*

I was blown away by this app initially. I have been looking for a simple meditation timer to use on my Apple Watch that connects with HealthKit's Mindfulness Minutes. You'd be surprised, but there aren't that many out there. Lots of timers, not many that have a Watch version and that are compatible with HealthKit.

This app is great except for one fatal flaw that has made it unusable in its current state... when I log a meditation session using my Apple Watch, it counts it as "Exercise" time and my watch starts counting calories and exercise minutes and logging those things to HealthKit. This causes me other health data to be skewed and incorrect. I'm not burning calories or exercising when I meditate. I turned off all HealthKit privileges for the app except for Mindfulness Minutes in the hopes that I could fix the problem, but nothing works. I'm assuming it has something to do with how the Watch counts time in the background, perhaps tapping into the Workouts function of the Watch?

I really hope this issue can be fixed cause I love this app otherwise and want to be able to use it.

### 4/5 — Clean design, needs to log to Mindfulness

*2017-01-09, version 1.3*

Great and easy to use. Just seconding what others have said.

### 4/5 — Tried many meditation timers and Still is best

*2016-12-16, version 1.3*

Most other meditation timers are filled with too many features. Still is nicely designed and the chimes are great. Looking forward to next version changes to record mindfulness minutes in Health app!

### 1/5 — Not satisfied

*2021-01-17, version 1.5*

This seemed like the perfect app on paper for my requirements, however it only works on the phone for the interval chimes and not on the watch which is what I needed. For some strange reason if I try a two minute meditation timer with a chime at one minute I only hear the one minute chime on the watch,Not the starting or the ending chimes. However when I put a one hour meditation timer with interval chimes at 20 minutes, there are no chimes at all on the watch. In fact there is no Notification that the hour is over. Which makes it pretty useless for my needs. Works fine on the phone though, but I am looking for something that would work on the watch and not the phone.

### 1/5 — No sound, so don’t know when session is over

*2019-09-30, version 1.5*

Tried the Apple Watch app and there was no sound. So I went about ten minutes over the time before I decided to check only to find the timer had stopped ten minutes ago.
So then I tried the iPhone app and it has sound but didn’t upload mindfulness data to the health app

### 1/5 — Screen needs to be on

*2019-03-13, version 1.5*

This all requires that your screen be on for it to be useful. On the phone, the timer will pause if your turn your screen off. On the watch, the bell does not chime if your screen goes dim, making it useless.

Also after daylight savings time started, it began to log my sessions twice.

### 2/5 — Nice app, but...

*2018-10-11, version 1.5*

This was exactly what I was looking for - simple meditation timer without bells and whistles that records to Health app. Huge drawback is that when using on Apple watch there is no indication (vibration) when the timer is done! So you could be sitting there and would have to keep checking your watch while you meditate.

### 2/5 — Stopped working

*2018-09-26, version 1.5*

Since iOS update, this timer no longer alerts at the intervals I set and no longer alerts when timer is up on the Apple Watch. This was the only timer I found that worked well on the Apple Watch but has stopped doing what it’s supposed to do. Would be happy to pay for it because it was such a good app

### 2/5 — Easy to use but missing functions

*2018-02-23, version 1.5*

This app doesn’t allow you to play music/chants while it’s running. It also sets up for one meditation only. I practice pranayama, chanting, and meditation every day, so I had to reset every time and that didn’t work for me.

### 2/5 — needs fix!!!!!

*2017-11-24, version 1.5*

love the simplicity of this app and would give it 5 stars but for one major-major bug. The app screen has to be constantly open to work. If you don’t have the app open with its bright screen, the meditation timer pauses. On an oled screen this is not good long term. Fix it so that the meditation timer can run in the background without the app having to remain open and this will be my favorite meditation app. Until then, it’s not worth using.

### 2/5 — Uninstalling due to unacceptable bug

*2017-06-18, version 1.5*

I like the app, the simplicity of it, the interval reminders, and most importantly the watch app. However whenever it is open, it counts exercise minutes and calories burnt. Not just when the timer is running, but also after it has stopped. Last night I meditated and did not close the app after the timer was done. When I woke up at 5 am, I had apparently spent 300 minutes exercising and burnt 900 calories while I was asleep. Please fix this bug.

### 3/5 — Recording meditation time I didn't do

*2024-05-13, version 1.5*

I've been using this app for years and have always loved it, but I stopped meditating for a number of months and I just meditated for five minutes and noticed that it recorded 33 for today then I noticed it recorded random amounts of time for other days in May and in April, Etc. They are all random amounts of time. How and why did this happen? And how do I get it to stop? thanks! I will give it three stars for now and if I can remedy the issue, it will definitely get five.

### 3/5 — Great app. Bug on iPhone 13

*2021-10-20, version 1.5*

Love this app. Use it daily!

Was bummed to see that the ring does not work properly anymore on iPhone 13. It just doesn’t move! (Though the timer is working)

Have my fingers crossed this will be fixed in a future update :)

### 5/5 — Meditation timer with intervals

*2023-05-08*

Works on iwatch with haptic and sound
Works on iPhone

Perfect!
Thank you

### 5/5 — Simple and lovely

*2019-05-04, version 1.5*

I use this app every morning. It works just the way you would want—simple and effective. There are no gimmicks or ads, just a lovely and simple interface. I’d really like to see a better view of your meditation history. Currently it is a list. A calendar view would give more meaningful insights. Thank you for this app.

### 5/5 — Just right

*2018-08-25, version 1.5*

App is simple & useful. No ads! Doesn’t complicate meditation

### 5/5 — Simple but does what I need

*2017-11-20, version 1.5*

A very simple app that does what a meditation app should do: work

I thought I would use the watch app, but I actually find I like using the phone better. I can quickly glance at the phone to see how much time remains if I want without moving my body as I would have to to see my watch.

I also like the chimes on the phone

### 5/5 — Simple and perfect

*2017-10-27, version 1.5*

Just what I was looking for. A simple mindfulness timer that can log data to Apple Health. So far it seems to fulfill that purpose perfectly.

### 5/5 — great for your two-a-days

*2017-04-05, version 1.5*

I chant twice a day and love this minimal timer that solves my problem of the iPhone stopwatch/timer fading to black as my phone sleeps. This app's intro chime/bell helps me begin, the intereval chimes help keep you going, and subtely lets you know you're done. Then, there's a mild satisfaction being able to look back and track your discipline. Thank you and if you do ever wish to poll users for more feature ideas, I have a couple.

### 5/5 — Exactly what I've been looking for!

*2017-04-04, version 1.5*

This is the simple, clean meditation app not loaded down with guided meditation IAP that I've been looking for! Many thanks to the awesome Developer. In a future update can there be a small IAP option to buy you a beer or some tea to help fund your continued development of this??

### 5/5 — Love the simplicity

*2017-02-16, version 1.4*

16 Feb 16 update: the developer reached out to me shortly after my last post. He was quite polite and I appreciate his responsiveness.

He writes:
"I wanted to reach out and apologize for the issues with the update and also let you
know how to fix it.

Luckily the fix is pretty simple. All you have to do is delete the app and re-download it.

When you delete Still, you will be asked if you want to keep the Health Data from Still. You'll need to choose "Keep".

Then you can download the app again, and then next time you start it it will ask for HealthKit permissions.

Once you grant them you'll see all of your old meditation sessions and new ones will be stored correctly."

I tried the above and now my old and new meditations are being logged. You'll have to accept both forms of data to get a complete list of your sessions. What's nice is that now it includes sessions from the Apple Watch Breathe app.

My sessions between the software update and the solution provided never appeared, but all else is working. I'm pleased. Thank you!

12 Feb 17 update: the latest version erased my past records and doesn't appear to be saving my new sessions...

--- Original Review ---

I love this app. I love its simplicity and I love that it has an Apple watch function.

As a previous reviewer wrote. I wish the watch app had a timer and buzzed.

More than that, I wish the data would sync up under the category of Mindful Minutes so I could track my progress there.

Other than those two things, awesome job!

Can you please tell me where I can make a donation? I'd like to support you.

### 5/5 — Great app lovingly designed

*2016-10-06, version 1.3*

I don't take the time to review apps very often, but when they are so well done it is necessary. The designer has kept the nature of the app simple and created a beautiful and easy to use to use tool. I highly recommend it!

### 5/5 — Om

*2016-03-26, version 1.3*

I love this app .. it’s my go to app for meditation. Om. Great sounds as well.
