You can hold your phone or tablet whatever way you like without worrying about touching the screen and image moving away. The image will remain on the screen with its orientation locked. 

Below are a few situations that you will find Still Screen app extremely helpful:

It would be awesome if the app had a clean HDMI feed that you could freeze and apply a cross dissolve between the frozen image and the unfrozen image.  This way the app could be used for a “before-and-after” application.

I sketch a lot and since I'm trying to improve my style use a lot of references. If you want to try something new and trace, sketch a fan picture for someone, or even want to zoom in without actually editing the photo then use this.
When you want to freeze the picture you can't accidentally unfreeze it because it has a slider to unfreeze it.

Freeze a picture only???  Like others, I was expecting more. I know, I didn’t read it close enough. Enjoy the $1.99

This functionality is not natively and easily available in iOS devices. That is why we created this App for people to help them address their needs. Please read App's description for more details and example of use cases. Please also note that Apple does not allow any third party iOS App to disable the touchscreen for other Apps due to the security requirements.
