## What is Still Waters?

Still Waters is a guided silent prayer app for Christians. Its single purpose is to help you slow down, quiet your mind, and meet with God.

It is not a content platform, a social network, or a productivity tool. It is a still place — somewhere to sit in silence, hear Scripture spoken over you, and let your soul be refreshed.

HOW IT WORKS

Within three gentle taps you are praying:

• Choose your length — 5, 10, or 20 minutes.
• Notice how you feel — joyful, grateful, anxious, grieving, weary, doubting, and more. Your session gently adapts to meet you where you are.
• Choose a sound that settles you — soft rain, a crackling fire, a quiet forest, the ocean, or pure silence.

Then be still. Scripture and gentle words rise slowly over your chosen sound. Nothing rushes. Nothing shouts. A soft bell closes the time, and you can write a sentence or two about what stirred in your heart.

A QUIET, HONEST SPACE

God meets people where they are — joyful, broken, doubting, or grieving. Still Waters holds space for all of it, without toxic positivity and without hurry. The app moves at the pace of the soul, not the pace of a notification.

PRIVATE BY DESIGN

• No account. No sign-up. No barriers — the app opens and works.
• Your journal entries are private and stored only on your device.
• No advertising. No user or device tracking. Ever.
• Anonymous, opt-out analytics (Aptabase) help us understand how the app is used so we can improve it. No personal data is collected.

GENTLE BY HABIT

• See your prayer story unfold — a quiet record of the time you’ve spent in stillness.
• Set an optional daily reminder to return.
• Designed for dark mode, so it feels at home at 6am and 10pm alike.
