I’ve sold quite a few dresses on Stillwhite and also bought one. I have to agree with some of the reviews that this app is lacking in a number of places. And lately with the updates I presume, it’s gotten worse. My dresses use to get a lot of traction which is no longer the case, even if I pay for a boost once in a while. They’ve also raised the prices for all features whether it helps or not. Shipping calculations has to be done off the platform once I have the buyers address which can be inconvenient

Stillwhite would be wonderful if they would not control the way dresses get exposure by the algorithms. You may not sell or even get offers for 10 months then all of a sudden you sell or get multiple offers. It does not give the seller a fair chance to sell due to this manipulation of exposure. I guess they want the seller to boost the ad. 🤷🏼‍♀️

I sold my wedding dress to a future bride in the USA which was incredibly straight forward .
The dress was on the site for quite a while but I would always say just leave it on as it’s a case of waiting for that one bride .
Still white is definitely the best site to sell your wedding dress .  The transaction felt safe and secure .

I’m someone that would never spend over $500 on any dress for any event. I found a Maggie Sottero Kiernan (retailed for $3000??) for $375 in my exact size/measurements and I couldn’t pass it up. Communication with the seller was very clear on any dress flaws, and prompt with sale and shipping. It arrived exactly as described and I fell in love. Never been to a bridal shop, but knew what shapes looked best on me by trying on fun colorful dresses with friends at a huge dress shop. Well worth it!!

I’m SO glad I found this site. As someone who went a bit over budget for the wedding AND also cares about sustainability, I couldn’t think of anything better. Make some money back while preventing a dress from just sitting around forever without any use. I loved the company’s recommendations and flat fee. Everything was easy and simple to use. My dress sold within two weeks of posting it.

Had the best interaction with "I Do Weddings" bridal boutique on this platform. The transaction was seamless and the wedding shop sent me additional info and pictures and helped me thru the decision making process to buy a dress online without ever having tried it on. It was PERFECT when it arrived and I got a great deal off the stores sample dress! Highly recommend this app!

This platform is amazing! I was in a panic looking for a dress that I would love and had found nothing. Did a google search and came across Stillwhite. It was very easy to use, navigate and the buyer I purchased my dress from was an absolute angel!  My wedding is next month and I was able to find an expensive beautiful gown for next to nothing. This platform needs more recognition.

I bought one of my wedding gowns off of StillWhite, and I am so thankful I did. The gown I fell in love with was around $4000 retail price. It was way out of my budget, but I couldn’t get it out of my head. I found the dress on StillWhite in my size and bought it. It saved me around $2500. I was a little scared to buy it used, but the seller was honest and up front about any minor imperfections of the gown. The best part is no one knew that it had ever been worn before. So worth it. Got my dream dress!

This is a really great app/service that is bringing sustainability into the wedding industry. The user experience is really straightforward and easy; it takes seconds to upload a dress and add details, and the analytics section (for sellers) is really useful as well.

Finding and filtering my dream dress was so easy! The platform is very user friendly, even using pictures in filter section.

We are doing an elopement and my dress is going to get dirty so I didn’t want to spend a ton. I wanted something light and flowy. 

The only thing is try also searching a size or 2 up and down and check the measurements for each dress you like. It found a lot I considered that way.

I sold my wedding dress on the app, and when it came time to estimate/calculate shipping costs, nowhere in the mobile app was I informed that you have to be logged in on the web to get proper help with the calculation. Not knowing this, I spent way too much time fumbling through calculating the cost myself on a third party site, not knowing yet where the buyer was located (because the process put the cart before the horse and was requiring me to provide a final price including shipping before the buyer sent the payment) so I ended up underestimating the shipping by quite a bit and lost money in the process. When I reached out to support, the sentiment was “its your fault, its not our problem”. I will never use this app again, what a terrible oversight on their part in the user experience and disappointing customer service.  They are making way too much money off our sales to treat customers so poorly.

Downgrades your photos to pixelated messes. Not sure how I am going to sell a gown you can’t even see properly. Not to mention the app glitches & paying close to $30 AUD per listing. 

Not a fan so far, but let’s see if I actually get a sale out of this.

If someone messages you so you have an instead message in your inbox - no ios badge icon is displayed to notify you.

Also when you open the app, there is nothing to show that you have an unread message in your inbox.

Even when you open the inbox, you can’t tell what is new and what has been opened already.

I have to rely on email notifications to tell me when I get a message which is archaic

I sold my dress in stillwhite, and I used PayPal per their recommendation. I sold the dress on June 2, 2022 and received payment. However, the seller filed a claim for an unauthorized transaction. PayPal took the money from me, and I now have a negative balance. I also no longer have my $1,200 dress. It says there is Seller Protection through PayPal, but there is no actual protection or benefit for the seller.

I would not recommend this app. I bought a wedding dress which was listed as “pristine”. It came covered in dirt & marks & snags. The seller is not responding to me. PayPal won’t do anything & Still White won’t respond to a single email. AVOID.

Had a great experience finding my dress from a super friendly and kind woman! She was great at communicating exactly when she would ship it out, and you could tell it was packaged with care. Plus I got a dress from my favorite designer for an AMAZING price! I’m so lucky to have found my dress for less than half the original price of the dress!

I got married back in 2021 and had planned to do something with the dress that I could wear again. I was thinking I could make it into lingerie, or make it short and make a cocktail dress. But I just couldn’t get myself to ruin the beautiful dress so I decided to sell it. I tried other places like shows or marketplace but I had a lot of scammers, then I found still white and paid the $25 for them to advertise it for you on their website, posted pics and measurements and then the rest is history. No scammers, just serious people that want a wedding dress. It’s sentimental letting go and selling your wedding dress and you just hope and pray that the person who buys it from you loves it and feels beautiful in it just like you did. I am very thankful for Stillwhite and that I was able to sell it and so glad I can bless someone else now with my beautiful dress to make their own.

Honestly 10/10 I was able to buy a beautiful gown for only $475. I had looked at other online stores but I just couldn’t find anything that came close to what I was looking for until I tried StillWhite. I read on Reddit about it and watched TikToks and once I saw Astrid designed by Josephine Scott (her gowns are usually in between £1800-£2000) I immediately fell in love and realized the search was over. This app has a lot of cool features you can adjust the filters so dresses that are your size are close to it will appear on your page. You can also look up certain designers if you are after a specific gown. Lastly I literally order my dress Sunday and got it the following Wednesday (I did order it in the same country). I hope this helps future brides.
