I am very glad I haven’t fallen prey to the money grabs of boosting attention to my profile or the “premium”. This seems to be not only an issue for myself but countless others as well. Do not believe the positive reviews more than likely they’re bots or people who’ve been paid to write such reviews. This application is awful. I signed up with my email, uploaded my pictures, answered 3 prompts as required. Then it asked for a phone number to “verify account”. I typed in my cell phone number and it rejected it! Now I’m locked out of the app and my pictures and profile are visible to everyone. I cannot log on nor can I delete my profile without a verified phone number. I was given a link to email customer service. A “customer service” (AI bot) representative emailed me to verify my identity by answering questions, which I did. “Customer service” responded that they couldn’t verify me therefore they couldn’t help me. I emailed three more times and they’ve not responded to me. There’s no company telephone number or any other way to contact them. Meanwhile, I continue to get notification from the Stir app about strangers liking my profile and sending me messages. I feel like my images have been stolen and I have no way to get them back. I’m actually really sad and confused by all of this. When I tried to log in the morning after creating it, it said my account was blocked. I was immediately sent to the ban appeals page by customer service. I use the same photos as I have on other apps and have never had this problem. I really think they keep your information and then show it to men who will pay to subscribe as bait to get more subscriptions. After reading dozens of other reviews, this seems to be a common problem. Especially with women.
