### 4/5 — There needs to be a function for splitting long images

The feature of stitching chat long images through screen recording is very good, but there needs to be a function for splitting long images as well. 

While long images are beneficial for exporting chat information, they are not convenient for other apps to process the text on long images. 

Some social platforms do not support uploading long images, text recognition apps do not support recognizing text on long images, and some text transcription AIs also do not support long images.

**Developer response:** Thank you for the detailed suggestion. Splitting a long image into smaller sections would be especially useful for social platforms, OCR tools, and AI transcription services with image-size limits. We’ve added this use case to our feature planning.

The title says the main issue—you get a certain number of free stitches, if you endure the ads, and then get stuck because you run out of memory (essentially). It’s also inconsistent about what’s in my gallery and whether I’ve used all my free usage.

**Developer response:** Thanks for explaining the issue. To remove an old stitch, open it from the gallery and tap Delete. We agree that the gallery contents and remaining free usage need to be clearer and more consistent, and we’re working to improve both areas.

I am not able to delete older photos or distinguish between the new and the old.

**Developer response:** Thanks for the feedback. You can open an older image in the gallery and use the Delete button to remove it; newer captures are listed first. We agree that dates and clearer visual labeling would make old and new stitches easier to distinguish, and we’re working to improve the gallery.

It was great up until recent updates, I really want to give it 1 Star, the features seem to constantly have bugs, and my image is  almost always not captured at all, or half pictures. Actually so frustrating, I even reached out to the support because I liked the app so much and paid for it, and y’all know how the rest of the story goes

Even after reading the ‘how to’ guide, I couldn’t get this app to do anything. It may be that my iPad is too old, but either way it didn’t work for me.

### 1/5 — Advertising makes app impossible to use and deceptive tactics force you to tap on adds. Stay clear

The ads shown when the app launches make it impossible to get into the app. One of them had 7-8 ‘fake’ x icons to trick you into tapping on the ad instead of closing the app. The current ad can’t be dismissed and I cannot even get into the app. Absolute rubbish. Stay clear.

We’ve already reported and are removing problematic ads like the one you described. In the meantime, please try force-closing the app and reopening it, or reinstalling — this usually clears stuck ads.

There is no count down once you hit record. A count down or option in the settings to adjust recording start times would be nice. Being that some else complained about this a year ago and it has not been fixed I doubt it will be corrected. No need to reply just fix the app. Please and thank you.

My phone rest and I lost everything because it doesn’t sync or save anywhere outside the app itself.

**Developer response:** We’re very sorry to hear that you lost your data. Currently, the app stores information locally on your device, so data may be lost if the phone is reset or deleted. We understand how frustrating this can be and are already working on adding cloud backup and sync options in a future update to prevent this issue. Thank you for bringing it to our attention.

But now it is unsable due ads that wont clear when you tap the x button in the corner. Cant even purchase pro features like this. Deleting forever.

Thought this would be a decent app but doesn’t capture any images for me. Deleted the app.

**Developer response:** We’re sorry the capture didn’t work. Please update to the latest version, allow Screen Recording when prompted, start the scrolling capture, switch to the target app, scroll slowly, and then stop the recording. The finished image should appear in StitchShot’s gallery.

I couldn’t even get to the program because of the sheer volume of Japanese-style animation ads. I finally just clicked out and ditched the app. What a piece of junk.

Crop tool makes no sense.  Doesn’t crop things properly.  Not useful.

**Developer response:** The crop tool works by allowing you to slide the image and use the top and bottom crop buttons to adjust the selection. Please give it another try! If you need further assistance, feel free to reach out. 😊

I don’t often leave written reviews, but felt I definitely had to here!!

I’ve only tested this once so far but wow!! 

I’m not great with tech, but Stitch Shot is smart so you don’t need to be!!

I basically took 2x screenshots of a purchase I made on my eBay app. I’ve always had to take 2 seperate SS cause 1 never quite captures it all (about half a SS short). 

Took my usual 2 SS then remembered I had Stitch Shot & tried it. SO easy & QUICK to use!!

Selected my 2x SS I wanted & that’s it!! It obviously knows what you want it to do with your selections so no further tapping needed!!

& I didn’t even need to crop even though I’d taken my 2nd SS with part of what was in the 1st in it, Stitch Shot was smart enough to figure out I obviously wouldn’t want double ups of what was in the 1st SS so it automatically cut it out. Talk about made for real world use!! 😃😃

& you CAN’T TELL AT ALL where it’s been stitched, not even when you zoom!! Perfect alignment even though one of my SS’s was shorter than the other & NO image quality loss that I can visibly see (that may be different with photos but for this, flawless!!)

& to top it off, it immediately gave me the option to delete my original SS’s & replace them with my Stitch, or save as a new photo (saved right to my camera roll), OR to save as a PDF to any of my apps which for purchase SS’s like I wanted a Stitch for, is amazing & usually I have to save my multiple SS’s as images then share from camera roll to the app I store Receipts in, then merge them to one file & so on, which uses more storage space, takes WAY longer & isn’t clean regardless, but Stitch Shot let me save it right to that app AS a PDF perfectly, no delays, no errors & also save to my camera roll as a flawless single image. 

Done & saved in 2 places, in 2 formats in less than seconds & looking flawless as heck too. 
There was even more options available too but didn’t look much at those. I found my fam right away 😌😌 

This is definitely about to be one of my “must have, most used” apps for sure if this experience is anything to go by 😌😌

Love how smart it is too!! Auto cropping out the part I’d accidentally SS twice. Thank you Stitch Shot developers!!! I’m in love!! 🤤🤤

One of my favorite apps for several of the offered use cases. Pretty seamless. I always try to get premium with apps I like a lot. This is one of them.
