### 2/5 — New update caters to white background

*2026-07-16*

Previous app versions had River Blue as the background, color, which was much easier on the eyes than the latest update from July 2026. The latest update seems to have transitioned to a white background, regardless of iOS device settings. If keeping this, the app should default to the device settings as the background.

### 2/5 — Was good back when team was good

*2025-09-20*

This app used to be interesting when there was a good exciting team to go with it. Disappointed it used to be one of my favorite apps.

### 3/5 — Had a lot of potential

*2025-08-10*

This app has a great interface, and an intuitive layout and controls. Well designed, and with neat features. HOWEVER. It is also fairly unreliable and slow sometimes. The goal highlights take forever to load, and sometimes don’t play at all. The same is true for match day photos in the gallery. It is truly annoying and incredibly disappointing for an app that had so much potential to deliver exclusive content, and simply fell short once it came to actual functionality.

### 3/5 — Good content but very laggy

*2024-12-23*

This is a good app and they really keep you up to date but everything is SO laggy. Half of the time, none of the pictures load and sometimes the articles just don't show up. Good app but still has some kinks to workout.

### 4/5 — Four Stars

*2024-09-07*

A little slow sometimes, plus the live events don’t work. I the live events worked though I would give it 5 stars.

### 2/5 — Doesn’t work.

*2023-10-18*

Used to work fine. Now it’s just a blue screen.

### 4/5 — Good app but….

*2023-09-28*

Still not sure why they don’t show standings by western conference, at least as an option. Or maybe I’m just missing it somehow. Seeing overall is cool too but what matters in season is conference rank.

### 3/5 — Apple wallet?

*2023-04-28, version 1.1.4*

Did they get rid of adding tickets to apple wallet?

### 4/5 — Slick and Fast

*2023-03-02*

Very fast, good team content, has stadium info including parking. There is a link in the privacy policy to opt out of them selling your info, apparently have to use “Other” option. Tech support didn’t respond but did fix a reported link problem.

### 1/5 — Painful

*2023-02-26, version 1.1.2*

The amount of hoops you have to jump just to get into the app is a turn off (first name, lady name, birthday, Jersey number), then SeatGeek throws an error logging in. Painful.

### 1/5 — Weak App

*2023-02-04*

The App was unusable when I needed it tge most. When I was trying to bunt tickets for the first game, it would only show bring SC 2. I had to force it to bring up first team tickets and that cost me a lot of money in additional costs. A very poorly designed and executed app.

### 1/5 — Login Required

*2023-01-27, version 1.1.1*

While I’d hope to learn more about my home team and cheer them on, I simply can’t defend any sports team that would require a fan to login to use even the most basic functionality of their app.

### 2/5 — Unfinished app

*2022-05-15, version 1.0.6*

This application isn’t ready to be used yet, because features aren’t completely uploaded. It defies logic in this day and age how the font of an app is so tiny. I use this app on my phone and iPad. If you think you can use finger gestures to enlarge the font of THIS app, think again. The developer ignored this feature and it makes the app worthless to me.

### 4/5 — Almost there!

*2021-12-07*

This app is awesome! However, the flashing load screen when you first open the app really needs to go away. It’s not a good sensory experience.

## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated)

### 1/5 — Sign In is a Joke

*2026-04-29, version 1.2.15*

Cannot simply sign on without complications! Beyond aggravating. I’m a season ticket holder and deleted since it’s so terrible.

### 1/5 — AI Trojan Horse

*2025-11-06, version 1.2.12*

Now includes an embedded AI product with serious environmental and privacy concerns.

### 1/5 — Horrible app

*2024-10-06, version 1.2.5*

The app is horrible very slow and crashes non stop

### 1/5 — What happened

*2024-10-06, version 1.2.5*

This app has been amazing. Then, you give us $10, then the app is 100% inoperable for ordering ahead for food. Cmon man

### 1/5 — Failed when needed most

*2024-10-05, version 1.2.5*

This app promised a ten dollar credit when you add a payment method and then it crashed when I went to use it at CITYPARK. Major disappointment.

### 1/5 — Monitoring Your and making threats

*2024-02-18*

App is being used to threaten season ticket holders. If you don’t use app more than once Edmound Elzy | Vice President, Ticket Sales & Service will say your tickets are forfeit despite paying. So app is linking your useable to identifiable information, so privacy claims are as false as Edmound Eloy’s understanding of ticket holder agreements.

### 1/5 — Terrible

*2023-07-28, version 1.1.5*

Lack of information, live match details, mostly only good to access tickets

### 1/5 — Garbage

*2023-07-15, version 1.1.5*

So after I add my name and birthday the “continue” button doesn’t work. Can’t advance. Tried several times. It would be nice to see what’s in the app but I guess that don’t want me to have it. Oh well.

### 1/5 — Too much work

*2023-06-22*

I just want to be able to show my ticket when I arrive at the game. Why do you need all this personal information? It’s absurd that I have to download an app to do this. What are you doing for people who don’t have smart phones? Do they get to go to games?

Edit: This app wouldn’t even let me login. you do not need this app to get into the game. Don’t believe all the emails they send you. I took a screenshot of my ticket from seat geek and it worked just fine to get in.

### 1/5 — Unfinished app

*2023-03-21*

This application isn’t ready to be used yet, because features aren’t completely uploaded. It defies logic in this day and age how the font of an app is so tiny. I use this app on my phone and iPad. If you think you can use finger gestures to enlarge the font of THIS app, think again. The developer ignored this feature and it makes the app worthless to me.

## Most praised reviews (10 highest-rated)

### 5/5 — City

*2025-04-13*

Great app for all city fans
It’s easy to use and it helps you know what’s going on before the game.
Go City!!!!

### 5/5 — Excellent

*2024-03-23*

Excellent app experience that is personalized to you. Cool features get updated that personalize the app to you. The match day features are really neat as well

### 5/5 — Good

*2023-10-22, version 1.1.7*

Solid app

### 5/5 — Very Well Done

*2023-01-27*

The app to begin with is very clean. It has a lot of promise. I enjoy the “Instagram like” stories that have all sorts of cool content such as photo galleries, new player acquisition details, and more. The app is still a Work In Progress, but I’m yet to experience any major bugs. For a team that hasn’t officially kicked off a regular season match yet, this app is a must have for CITY fans.

### 5/5 — Unique, Reactive, Informative

*2023-01-27*

Really fun to use, keeping every aspect of each team’s info compartmentalized in a very organized fashion!

Plus it’s easy to look at; can’t get enough of that pop of color. Plus the feed keeps you up to date with photo dumps, articles and upcoming events!

### 5/5 — Very impressive

*2021-09-20*

Since I work for another sports franchise, I was pretty impressed by the app. It has great potential and I’m looking forward to seeing more of it especially when the team starts playing. I do have some ideas of giveaways if they allow inputs.

### 5/5 — Favorite Sports App

*2021-09-17*

In a world saturated with canned and soulless sports content, CITY is delivering top notch experiences and stories that are meaningful to the fanbase. This is already my favorite sports app.

### 5/5 — Intuitive layout, innovative content

*2021-09-17*

For the basics, the layout is easy to navigate, it’s stable, and intuitive.

The content is where it really shines. Released 18 months before the first team takes the field, there are fun activities involving the stadium construction and AR/VR uses as well as custom profile functionality that makes it exciting to stay engaged and earn badges. Lots of articles, videos, and info about the team to take in. Looking forward to the app growing alongside the club over the next few years and take it to a new level once matches start in the new stadium.

### 5/5 — Excellent App!!!

*2021-09-16*

Don’t pay too much attention to apps from my sports teams but this is very high quality and very engaging for fans! Can’t wait to get some more badges!

### 5/5 — Can’t wait!

*2021-09-16*

So far great app and can’t wait to see how they use it as the season gets closer!
