STLtaxi is the booking application for both Laclede Cab taxi and County Cab services in Saint Louis, Missouri. We are pleased to offer even more convenient access to St.Louis city’s largest, cleanest and lowest priced fleet with our free STLtaxi app. Key Features of the STLtaxi app include: • Book a trip in as few as 2 clicks • Monitor the progress of your vehicle on a map • Create a list of favourite addresses and assign a custom name for each • Review all reservations you have made over the past 30 days • Provide feedback related to the application and/or service you received • Call STLtaxi with the push of a button To begin using the STLtaxi app today: • Download the free app • Enter your phone number • Validate your account (via the notification code you receive) • Login to the app (Set your name and Email for receipts) • Enter your pickup address • Enter your destination address (this allows us to provide an estimated fare amount) • Book your trip On booking a reservation, you will immediately receive a confirmation number, along with an update when your vehicle has been assigned. From here you can monitor the progress of your vehicle as it moves towards your pickup location. The STLtaxi app retains a history of your previous reservations for expense management and to quickly rebook the same trip with the push of a button. Ordering taxi’s is effortless. While waiting (no more than about eight minutes), you get real-time updates on your cab’s location. On top of that, you can pay securely, including the tip, via ApplePay. I wish I could assign six stars. ### 2/5 — Unavailable every time *2026-06-07, version 6.24.0* Make sure the ride is available every time when people needed. Thank you ### 2/5 — Cant tip at end? *2026-04-16, version 6.24.0* Two massive complaints. One, maybe I did something wrong, but it seemed that the app forced me into Apple Pay, something I’ve sedulously avoided throughout my life. I’m going to have to erase that, and pay cash in the future. Secondly apparently, I had the opportunity to tip when I ordered the ride but shouldn’t the size of your tip be determined at the end of your ride based on the quality? ### 4/5 — Missing function *2019-01-23, version 5.5.32* I downloaded the app and have used it several times - to order a cab for “now” and for a “future” time. The app has worked great! Today, when I went to order a cab for my trip to the airport for the next day, the “future date” option is no longer available...did you remove it from the app? It was really convenient and I’d like to see it come back. ### 5/5 — Works! *2018-12-04, version 5.5.32* Downloaded the app and reserved a cab to the airport for the next morning. Got a text alert when the cab was on its way, and he was there waiting for me 5 minutes early. Easy! ### 1/5 — Can’t even activate my account *2017-11-04, version 3.17.739* I tried to activate my account to use the app but it won’t let me type in the activation code. ### 1/5 — No show - no driver assigned for reservation *2016-03-18, version 2.4.2* I made a reservation on Thursday evening for a pickup at 6AM on Friday. At 6:05, the driver still hadn't arrived. I checked the app, and it said that the driver was still not assigned. I then called the dispatch and was told that they were still looking for a driver. The dispatch operator also told me that it's not guaranteed that you will be picked at your scheduled time. I needed to catch a flight, so I drove myself. There are lots of taxi services to choose from in St. Louis. I will not use the STL Taxi app or Laclede Taxi service again. ### 3/5 — Convenient/Worth having *2016-03-11, version 2.4.2* Pros: Easy to use. Excellent features, time saver, very accurate at least where I go Cons: Drivers- most drivers play rude music and use foul language guess cuz they're contracted n don't care hence 3*. #but the app itself user friendly! ### 1/5 — Unreliable *2015-03-24, version 1.5.27.4* This app promises a rich feature set, yet does not deliver. The biggest issue is orders being mysteriously cancelled without user interaction. The second issue is the gps. It seems to not report the proper address to the company despite it presenting the user with the correct address. Being able to see where the cab is is nice, once one is assigned.
