## What is Stochastic Music Tyrant?

Your library has outgrown your listening. Hundreds of songs you added once and never heard again sit buried while the same forty play on repeat.

Stochastic Music Tyrant is a true shuffle for the library you already own. Every song plays exactly once before any song repeats, so the ones you forgot resurface instead of the same rotation. A running counter proves it, and your place holds across sessions.

THE ENGINE
A full Fisher-Yates shuffle with real randomness. Every subject performs once per reign, spread evenly across your whole Apple Music library. No weighting by play counts, skips, or moods. You get what you get.

THE GALLOWS
Hold to banish a song you are done with. It leaves the shuffle for good, takes a dislike in Apple Music, and lands on The Block, a real playlist where the condemned wait. The sentence stands across reigns until you show mercy.

A PARDON
Tap the heart to spare a song you love: loved in Apple Music and gathered into The Pardoned.

THE REGISTER
The Block never forgets. Every row stands under AWAITING THE AXE, STRUCK FROM THE LIBRARY, or SPARED, each with its date. Strike a song by hand in Apple Music and the court notices on its own.

THE WARRANT
No app on iPhone may delete a song from your library. So the court issues warrants. SEND THE WARRANT posts every standing sentence, and The Headsman, a free companion for your Mac, serves it in one sitting. The deletions are real and sync everywhere. The sentence travels with you. The axe waits at home.

NUMBERED REIGNS
One full pass through your library is a reign. When every song has played, it ends with ceremony and the next begins with a fresh shuffle. The Dossier keeps your record: days in power, songs pardoned, songs banished, and how ruthless your rule has run.

PROCLAIM
Turn any reign or the whole Block into a decree card made to share. Real names stay sealed unless you choose to confess them.

ONE COURT, TWO THRONES
The court travels. The same reign holds session on your iPhone and in your desktop browser, and one seat opens both.

## Version history (last 5 releases)

### 1.2.3 — 2026-08-01

THE WARRANT. The whole register goes at once: SEND THE WARRANT posts every standing sentence to the court, and The Headsman, a free Mac companion, serves it the next time he holds office. PAIR A MAC mints the five-character code that swears him in.

The law reads true: THE GALLOWS PASSES SENTENCE.

### 1.2.2 — 2026-07-28

THE BLOCK IS NOW A PERMANENT REGISTER. Every banishment keeps its row for good, stamped DISPATCHED while it awaits the axe, STRUCK once the song is gone from your library, or RESCINDED when you show mercy. The court notices a removal on its own and stamps the record accordingly.

THE PURGE WALK. Condemned songs can now be removed from your library one tap at a time, on the phone, from a road the Block opens for you.

The law reads true: the gallows passes sentence, and the register says what became of every subject.

### 1.2 — 2026-07-26

THE BLOCK is now the court's own instrument. RESCIND strikes the row from the playlist itself. AMNESTY empties it on command. The register and Apple Music finally keep the same record.

Each condemned subject now carries a single tap to its page in Apple Music, where the final strike is yours to deliver.

Also sealed: the OPEN seal honors your storefront and truly opens your playlist.

### 1.1.1 — 2026-07-24

The reckoning reads true. Your decree card now reports the reign exactly, the record fits the page no matter how many subjects you banish, and several rough edges in the court are smoothed.

### 1.1 — 2026-07-23
