Adding a stock to the watchlist is requiring a paid version, when it use to part of the app. The objective is easily seen. Capture the audience and get them into the app and bleed them. The juice ain’t with the squeeze. Started at 5 stars and it’s slowing being an erosion of stars. Can’t even get the set alerts on the stocks in the watchlist, and pay for it. Nah. They’ll get to where they want Added: I keep seeing the message within using the app. Like I said earlier about nickel and diming users, I’ll reverse that. You want my review…. For instance a watchlist, previously I could add and delete stock symbols , with the update I can no longer add symbols only delete. I’m trying to add asked for upgrade for $200 a year. ### 3/5 — Love it...except when ads freeze for days *2026-09-01, version 7.79* This is an excellent app. I use it constantly, and love it. The ads that periodically appear are forgivable (they have to get paid somehow). BUT...once in a while a full page ad will not go away, effectively blocking me out of my Stock Alerts. Very frustrating. Also, they allow some deceptive ads that they probably should exclude. Ones that say they’re from Apple and your iPhone been infected… That sort of thing. It had errors and was slow to update at times, but still usable. It was free. Now, having to pay an absurd amount of money for the same product? Im done. So many other apps that are free, with better content and more accurate and timely information. This isnt worth paying for at all. On top of the disappointment, I can’t access any of my watchlists, so gone are the list of stocks I was tracking.
