Anyone can show you the number "P/E 15". What nobody tells a beginner is whether that number is cheap or expensive. StockFit translates. ■ 145 terms in plain words Focused on stocks, in eight categories: basics, financial metrics, trading, charts, bonds, crypto assets, funds and FX. Each term has a one-line definition, a fuller explanation, an example with real numbers, and links to related terms. ■ See the metric, not just the number Comparison bars, ratio rings, stacked bands, crossing lines, candlesticks and funnels. The shape carries the meaning. ■ Averaging calculator Enter what you paid and how many shares you hold, and it shows your average cost and total. No prices are fetched; the math uses only what you type. Fees and taxes are not included. Records stay on your device, with no backup. ■ Pick a company by name Search 4,259 companies listed in Tokyo by code or by name. Only codes and names are included; no prices or other market data. ■ Search that forgives spelling Readings and body text are searched together, so small differences in how you type still find the term. ■ No account, works offline The glossary ships inside the app, so it reads with no connection. Bookmarks and records stay on your device. ■ Three languages Japanese, Korean and English, switchable in Settings at any time. ■ About ads This app shows ads. Together with Japan that is 11,962 companies, searchable by code or name. ・The stock screens now switch between countries. Sectors are classified differently in each country, so the two lists are never mixed. ・Added Portfolio for people who bought the app. It gathers your saved holdings and shows the total and the share of each stock and sector. ・The averaging calculator itself stays free. The purchase added Portfolio; nothing that was free was taken away. ・Term illustrations grew from 23 to 75, so every one of the 10 categories now has figures. ### 1.4.1 — 2026-09-15 ・New app icon and launch screen. ・Fixed an issue where returning to the app with an ad on screen could leave it stuck on the launch screen. ・Fixed an issue where people who bought "Remove Ads" could still see a launch ad or consent screen. ・The calculator now reads a decimal comma where your region uses one. ・Bookmarks are now added or removed with the star on each term. ・Ads now also appear at the bottom of each term, and a full-screen ad may show when you return to a list after reading several terms. The "Remove Ads" purchase turns them off. ### 1.4.0 — 2026-09-09 ・The glossary grew from 279 to 309 terms, adding 30 across bonds, funds, forex, economy and taxes. ・Added a share button to every term. Send the link and anyone can read it in a browser, app or no app. ・All 309 terms are now on the web in three languages, so a search can lead straight to a term. ・Every tab now says what it is for, and the stock list states that only Japanese listings are included. ### 1.3.0 — 2026-09-07 ・Added a country setting. Pick Japan, Korea or elsewhere, and the glossary lists only the terms that mean something there. ・The glossary grew from 207 to 279 terms with a new Taxes category. Tax rates are shown per country, with the year they describe. ・The home screen categories are now four across, so all ten fit at a glance. ・Stock search now opens with a list by sector. Open a sector to see the companies in it. ### 1.2.1 — 2026-09-04 ・The glossary grew from 145 to 207 terms with a new Economy category: GDP, consumer prices, monetary easing and the other words behind market moves. ・The tracking permission screen now always uses the app's own wording, shown in Japanese, Korean or English. ・Fixed the disclaimer sheet overlapping the launch screen. ・Search now switches between terms and stocks.
