Latest update takes over a day to fill orders. Edit; now they removed the “trade” button at the bottom! In addition to being bothersome and obtrusive, it causes a lot of junk to populate my phone. You have cluttered up all the names, made the chart reading almost impossible. Change it back. Now the newest version is awful, too much micro management to select tools menu options etc, was way easier before you made it a lot more difficult to select options and read unlike before. Now those new Portfolio Summary cards use up too much space. Scrolling through them when you have multiple portfolios takes too long. Before everything was concise and right there. Please offer an option for the “Classic” view. Also, the Watchlists - why have that Star ⭐️ next to each one on the list? It causes the list to use up too much space between each watchlist which causes far more scrolling. Also, when using the black theme, the grey cards just don’t look good. I’m getting a headache from all the scrolling. ### 1/5 — Ad *2026-06-23, version 9.0.0* Ad on stock tracker prevents me from opening app. A repeating window saying I can’t buy app, which i dont want anyway, and when I try to close it bounces back and I can’t close the app. I have to shut down my iPad and reboot it. All was tolerable (though not a fan of having to touch multiple buttons to end an ad) until they decided today to display loud screaming ads where you can’t turn down or shut off the sound. Not what you want to be subjected to first thing in the morning. And no more discreetly opening the app at work. Definitely deleting and using a different stock app. Big thumbs. ### 1/5 — Show negative numbers as negative numbers *2026-08-20, version 9.1.7* I’ve asked them for years to Show negative numbers, whole and percentages, as negative numbers, i.e. with a negative symbol - or in red. Never a response to my request. How simple it is to do that by a digital company in the digital age. All the others do it. Why not them. Baffling. I say this app is unsafe. Every time I open the app, an advertisement appears immediately. There is no visible "X" or close button, and the screen completely freezes. The app becomes entirely unresponsive, forcing me to force-quit the application just to exit. Use it everyday to track my portfolios and I’m an active trader. The paid version with real-time data runs me $10/mth and it’s worth every penny. I was a little frustrated that it was rarely updated, but have mixed feelings about all the recent updates. Though the new charts have more features (moving average crossovers for instance) I’m not a big fan of the thinner lines and pale colors - that is the trend in all apps and it plays hell with older folks. BUT, the new AI feature is amazing! Does a really nice job of summarizing the current state of any stock. A little slow perhaps, but so are some of the other AI’s (ChatGPT for instance). Yes some displays take up more screen real estate but charting is much more robust and modifiers are super-easy. Lots of improvements here! I have relied on StocksTracker for years to keep an eye on the markets. The latest version changed the user interface and while it looks slicker, the same information takes up more real estate on the screen - resulting in having to scroll to see information that used to appear on one screen.
