Love this concept - it is great for when you’re feeling lazy. However, more often than not the app isn’t working - “there is an issue with your account” or “cannot connect to the server” which is quite frustrating when you want a quick snack and cannot get the app to open the store. I have noticed these issues more frequently so not sure what is going on

So our stockwell machine has been broken for the last year in our building and attempts to try and fix it have been futile and laughable. Stockwell said they don’t own the machines and gave me a number to call. AMAZING CUSTOMER SERVICE. No wonder your app rating is deteriorating at an exponential rate…enjoy giving out that number to other inquiries 👍

The store in my building is always offline. It can’t be communicated with and just shows an error message. There doesn’t seem to be a lot of interest in getting it back online.

This app has literally never worked for me. First couple of times I entered the machine number and it said it couldn’t connect and to try again. Now I’m completely locked out of my account and can’t even login. Absolutely awful I hope another company puts you out of business and does this right

The machine in my apartment lobby is fully stocked but NEVER works. It’s extremely rare we can actually get it open to get snacks. It’s the same error everyone, “someone has left the door open”.  Such a waste of a good idea.

My building has one of these machines. I’ve lived here for a year and it’s remained untouched because it won’t open with the app. I tried emailing support and never got a response. Based on the reviews it seems like they don’t care to maintain these. Do you not want to make money?

Came in handy when it was snowing and I didn’t want to walk to the convent store. They have Apple Pay as an option, however they don’t actually take Apple Pay. So if you use it, your payment fails, and instead of getting an email saying it failed you get a threatening email saying you’ll be sent to collections over $4. There’s also no notification of the door closes properly and it take a suspiciously long time for the door to lock, makes me nervous that someone could open it on my dollar. Do not recommend. I’ve never openly bashed an app or service before, but this one is so stupid I shared the threatening email with all my friends and warned them away from the service.

The app won’t even let me submit the store number to buy something, i keep pressing “open store” after writing the number and nothing happens. Completely pointless

I was originally able to use machine 673. All of a sudden, it says that “there is a problem establishing connection.”  I deleted the account to start again and it still doesn’t work. My husband tried from his phone and it doesn’t work!

As of early 2021, post transition to their new corporate overlords, this app’s UI couldn’t find its way to function if it had a map. Before, it worked fine with few issues but since changeover and re-download on a new device, good luck signing in OR creating a new account—you might get some fun symbols or “network error” by way of an error message, but you likely won’t be able to actually get to use this app or open a Stockwell store.

I have used this app successfully before with the machines in my apartment complex. However, I deleted the app and my account after learning Stockwell was closing down. Turns out they didn’t, so I re-downloaded. I am unable to use the app, because when I go to add my payment details, the app crashes and closes. Hopefully, this bug can be fixed soon so I can begin shopping and utilizing the app again.

I was in my apartment when I felt the need to buy a chocolate bar, I didn’t want to drive so I went downstairs where the Stockwell machine is located. I took a snickers bar, but when I got the receipt I saw they also  charged me for ruffles and Cheetos that I didn’t take!!! On the top of that, I contacted them and nobody replied my emails. Their products are very pricey and have a terrible customer service. I won’t recommend this “store” to anybody.

This app is not even able to work long enough without it force closing/crashing for me to even be able to get past the sign up process. Very frustrating & my fam has had the same problems with it here lately as well as one of our friends who did manage to get past the sign up part but the inventory is completely wrong nothing is in the thing that there says is available:/Please work on fixing this as we would all really like to be able to take advantage of this app & use it frequently but it’s been impossible:|TIA!

After months of trying to use the kiosks, I still can’t “open store.” Every time I try to click that button, nothing happens. I tried creating a new account. I tried using it from my iPad. Support has basically been no help; they told me to clear my cache, which did nothing. Really frustrated to have these kiosks in my apartment if I can’t use them and no one can figure out why.

I am at the front of the unit and i cannot open it. It won’t let me put my card information or use Apple Pay. It’s a glitch or something going on but it won’t let me do anything. I had my coworker try it and another person and it worked for them but for some reason not me. I tried re downloading the app 4 times, I’ve tried everything I could really. Please fix I really want to use it.

Stockwell was great but when I got the notification they were closing shop at end of July, I deleted the app. Now that they’re part of 365, I redownloaded the app. It recognized I was already logged in and showed I had Apple Pay setup (with no way to remove it). However I can’t actually use it because the main screen says I have no payment. Hitting the contact link tries to send an email in safari, which I don’t use. Their website says to use the contact form but there is no form. It feels like there’s a single person holding this company together. I don’t trust them to directly input my credit card in the app given they can’t even get these user flows correct and apparently there’s no way to actually contact them. Customer retention is not your strong suit apparently.

I opened one of the cabinets with the app and got a few items. I then received a notification saying they were unable to charge my card. I try updating the card on file, doesn’t work. Just gets stuck processing indefinitely. Hmm, OK, let’s try Apple Pay. I click on the Apple Pay button and nothing happens. 

Hello, aren’t you a business? How do I pay you?  Their FAQ says if this happens (it must happen a lot), we should contact them by email. So we need to go out of our way to email them because their developers are incompetent? This app should be taken down until they fix this issue.

I just moved into a new building which has a Stockwell machine. I was excited to grab a quick snack so I downloaded the app and tried to sign up. I clicked Google for signing up/signing in because I prefer OAuth for security. The app hung and had to be completely deleted an reinstalled. I then tried to sign up the normal way and the app threw error codes. 

If this is what registration looks like then what does their security/db look like? I can’t even get past the login page to consider making a purchase. I deleted the app and promptly told my management to consider terminating their contract with this company.

Apple Pay doesn’t work. Manually entering credit card info is no longer working either. Customer service hasn’t been able to resolve the issue. I couldn’t give this company my money if I wanted to. The app is so poorly designed that they can’t even process customer payments! SMH

Depending on the day of the day this app may or may not allow you to add credit cards. It needs a lot of work. Whenever you don’t add a credit card it may also ban your account just because. Terrible user experience.

Maybe the service is good, maybe not, but the app is so awful you’ll never be able to find out. Allowed me to create two accounts under the same email, password reset takes an unknown length of time to sync, I gave up.

Stock well is an ironic for a vending machine that is never stocked well.

 Apartments need to ditch this deal with this “good on paper” company. On its best day it has most of the same things a normal vending machine has. On its worst day (which is most) it has nothing. 

Normal vending machines can hold a lot more. Yes you can use Stockwell on your phone, and that’s a cool toy. It would just be nice if you could actually get anything of it. W

This app has only worked 3/15 times. Every time I want to grab a snack the app fails or won’t let me log in. I would rather deal with an old school machine then this fake high tech trash. Avoid at all cost.

Honestly this thing is great! Vending machine of the future. I love the music and the lights that turn on and off when you open and close it. Also, the prices are very reasonable! Most of the snacks in here are the same price or cheaper then a lot of the local convenience stores! I also think the variety is awesome, a little bit of everything you may need on the fly and don’t feel like leaving your building to run to the store. I’m a new and big fan of Stockwell!

First off Thank you sooo much who ever created this idea and app. This has vastly changed my life. When I downloaded the app and used it to get munchie snacks I was just amazed at how SIMPLE this whole process was. I entered number open door take what I need and close door done I walk away. That’s how it should be. I love how I have a mini store just 50ft away from where I live these Stockwell people are a godsend it was sooo cool when I opened the door and it greeted me it felt so exclusive like I was at a 5 star hotel mini bar and the prices were super reasonable. Like 1.70 for a coke. I love it as a result I’m going to be a big time client

While still in its early stages, Stockwell stores (accessed from this app) are super clutch.  Whenever I need a snack or have run out of dish soap or something I can just walk down to my building’s lobby and get what I want or need.  Super convenient.  Plus, I like that I can request items and I’ve even noticed some things I’ve requested have started showing up!
