## What is StockWhether?

Subscription Required (no free version after trial)
StockWhether offers a 7-day free trial, then $1.99 USD per month. Auto-renews monthly; manage or cancel anytime in your Apple ID settings.
Not investment advice (informational alerts only).

StockWhether helps long-term investors act with clarity—not emotion—by showing when a stock on your watchlist is having an unusually strong or unusually weak day compared to the past year of trading.

Most days, there is nothing to do. Like checking the weather and seeing clear skies, StockWhether keeps score for you. When today's move lands in the statistical tails—the rare extremes that often matter most—the app surfaces it clearly so you can decide whether to buy, sell, or wait.

THE STOCKWHETHER APPROACH

Every stock's daily returns form a familiar pattern over time: most days cluster near the middle, while the meaningful moments live in the tails. StockWhether ranks each trading day against a one-year window and highlights when today falls in the Top 10 or Bottom 10 of that distribution—your opportunity zones.

• Bottom 10 (buy zone): fear-driven drops and capitulation days that institutions often treat as accumulation opportunities
• Top 10 (sell/trim zone): euphoric spikes that may be worth trimming when you are fully invested

Palm trees show conviction: one tree for a mild extreme, two for a stronger dislocation, three for the rarest, highest-conviction moves. No price targets to set. No custom alerts to configure. The app monitors the tails for your watchlist continuously.

WATCHLIST & CHARTS

Build a watchlist around the names you care about—or start from a quarterly refreshed list inspired by widely held institutional holdings. View charts, daily returns, ranks, and context for each symbol in one place. Sort by ticker, rank, or today's return to see what needs attention at a glance.

PUSH NOTIFICATIONS THAT WORK IN THE BACKGROUND

Turn on notifications to receive alerts when a watchlist stock enters a Top 10 or Bottom 10 opportunity zone—even when the app is closed. Separate toggles let you choose buy (Bottom 10) and sell (Top 10) alerts. Most days you will hear nothing. That is by design.

AI ASSISTANT

Ask questions about your watchlist, charts, ranks, and opportunity lists. The assistant uses the same data you see on screen—grounded in your symbols and context, not generic market chatter.

OPPORTUNISTIC DOLLAR COST AVERAGING (ODCA)

StockWhether is built around ODCA: a rules-based alternative to calendar DCA. Instead of buying on a fixed schedule regardless of price, ODCA encourages action only during statistically meaningful moments—sizing conviction in 1, 2, or 3 units based on how extreme the day is relative to the past year. The goal is patient, disciplined, opportunistic behavior over time.

WHO IT IS FOR

StockWhether is for long-term investors who want structure around volatile days—not day traders chasing noise. If you have ever sold into panic or bought into euphoria and wished for a calmer framework, this app is for you.

IMPORTANT

StockWhether provides informational context and alerts based on historical daily return rankings. It does not provide investment, tax, or legal advice. All investing involves risk. Past patterns do not guarantee future results. You are responsible for your own decisions.
