## What is Stoics?

Stoics lets you hold thoughtful AI conversations with seven ancient voices: Marcus Aurelius, Seneca, Epictetus, Zeno, and Cato the Younger — joined by two guests who came to disagree: Diogenes the Cynic and Epicurus. Create a room, choose any mix of the seven, and watch a real exchange unfold: streamed replies in each philosopher's own register, with source citations, answering you and each other.

A daily practice runs alongside the conversations: one reading each day from the Stoic canon, a reflection prompt tied to it, and a streak that counts the days you showed up. Set a reminder at the hour that suits you, or leave it off.

Responses are AI-generated and are not the words of the historical figures. Stoics is for reflection and education, not medical, legal, financial, or mental-health advice.

Stoics no longer stops when your trial ends: you keep a daily allowance of free messages, shown on the home screen, and every upgrade screen can be dismissed.

• A message that can't be sent returns to your composer instead of vanishing

Nothing inside the app has changed in this version. The App Store listing called it "Chat with Stoic philosophers", which is what every app in this corner of the store calls itself, and said nothing about the part that is different: seven voices that argue with each other and cite the passage they are arguing from.

The opening suggestions do more of the work.

Tap one and it sends. You no longer have to notice the text landed in the box and press send yourself.

The three suggestions are new, too. The old ones asked things every voice in the room agrees about, so you got three versions of one answer. These are situations the philosophers genuinely argue over, which is the part worth staying for.
