### 4/5 — Almost perfect but no turn notifications

*2024-10-21*

Game looks & sound great. One of the easier to learn & play board games. However there is a very big flaw for anyone who wants to play online. When it’s your turn, there is no notification. I keep having to constantly check online through out the day to see if it’s my turn or not.

EDIT: in the settings there is push notification option but when I try to select it, it gives error “unable connect to server”

### 4/5 — Reprint and an issue

*2024-07-12*

There was a stone App. It was great. Why did it go away? This one is fine.

I can’t use my wild resources to get a building?!

**Developer response:** Hello and thank you for your feedback. The previous app you mentioned was developed by a different company, while this app is created by Acram Digital. Therefore, differences in functionality and features may exist due to different development teams and design choices.

Additionally, if you encounter any issues, such as not being able to use wild resources to get a building, please utilize the in-game feedback feature to report the problem. Our team is dedicated to improving the game and resolving any issues players might experience.

### 4/5 — Cannot Finish Tutorial

*2024-04-23*

Unable to complete the card section—very important area, too. Game tutorial freezes after I get to the point in which I tap the card panel: it goes to the next screen and then I cannot progress further.

**Developer response:** Hello,

Thank you for leaving feedback. Could you please send us the in-game feedback so that we can investigate this issue?

### 4/5 — Bugs?

*2024-04-13*

Started a game and claimed a card (the cheapest one - 1 resource). Came time to collect workers and darned if I can't figure out how to claim it. I gathered wood during the turn so I have enough, but bringing the cards up to full screen by tapping, I can't collect the card - there's nothing to drag or tap to indicate what resource I want to pay with and tapping the card itself, the worker, etc, does nothing. Only thing that I can bring up is the help by tapping the "?".

EDIT: OK this was on me (and the UI developers). When it came time to gather the card, I was tapping the *top display* to view the cards and was thus unable to pay for the card, instead of tapping the cards at the bottom area of the play board.

### 3/5 — Crashes

*2024-04-12*

This is a great app and great game except that it freezes about halfway waiting for another AI player to act.

**Developer response:** Hello, thank you for your review. Could you please send us your feedback using the in-game feature? This will help us in resolving the issue.

### 3/5 — Basic game is good

*2024-04-01*

It covers the game fine. However it’s set up is clunky as if it wasn’t play tested.

There are too many pointless animation cut scenes that just disrupt the flow. The fact that it doesn’t all fit on the same screen (on an iPad Pro so plenty of space) and you have to scroll to see placement of resources is a pain. The civilisation cards are impossible to follow without clicking on them to go into (e.g. you can’t see if something is a food, huts, axe, people x1 or x2 multiplier). The fact that they are in two places adds confusion and crowds the screen. On that point, the screen is far too crowded. It all seems to be squeezed into the centre, making it cluttered , but big gaps around the edges. Finally the number of hut cards remaining in each pile is similarly hard to follow. Crowded screen with small indicators of huts left means they are easily overlooked.

**Developer response:** Hello,

Thank you for your review.

Could you please send us your feedback using the in-game option, or alternatively, send screenshots from the game to our email at contact@acram.eu? This will enable us to work more effectively on resolving the issue.

### 3/5 — Annoyed I had to buy this again

*2024-03-31*

I bought the original stone age app and it was the game that got me into board games. Just annoyed that the old app was removed and the game re-released forcing me to buy it again. Seems pretty unfair…

**Developer response:** Hello,
Thank you for your review.
We are a different company, Acram Digital, creating a brand-new experience for mobile edition of Stone Age. We are grateful and hope that despite of having to buy another version of the game, you will be satisfied with the product and are waiting for feedback regarding our newest app. Thank you for supporting us with your purchase.

### 1/5 — This is not done well

*2025-12-30*

I’m not sure if the app maker did not get licensing rights from the board game but this sucks. The art is not the same. It’s clunky.

### 1/5 — Not the old app

*2025-08-09*

I had the original digital app of Stone Age and loved it; unfortunately the maker quit supporting it. I wanted to like this one, too, but it keeps freezing midway through so that I get no farther than “waiting for Maia” as Maia is supposedly collecting her workers. What’s the point in playing a game that never lets you finish? A waste of money!

### 1/5 — I’d like to leave a good review

*2024-05-07*

Unfortunately, I can’t. I purchased this with the intent to play asynchronously with my partner. The game has required me to create a new account to play and resetting my password has resulted in errors from their website. I’ve contacted their customer service repeatedly over a couple months and they are completely useless in even the most basic of help. Customer service that should have been taken care of overnight has taken months and still hasn’t been fixed. Avoid unless you simply want to play against the AI.

In response to Acram’s response - Stop lying to me. This isn’t a priority at all I am utterly out of patience and even publicly calling you out here in the App Store has gotten the same facile non-response you’ve given me time and time again. You have no intention of fixing this because if you had that intention it would have been done by now. It’s simple. Delete my prior account and let me create a new one. It’s not hard. You even said so when I texted your company. Did you do that? Of course not.

Buyer beware.

**Developer response:** Hello and thank you for your feedback. We apologize for the frustration you experienced with Stone Age: Digital Edition and the password reset issue. We're happy to inform you that we've identified and fixed the problem. Our team has worked diligently to resolve this, and you should now be able to reset your password without any issues. We value your support and would love for you to give the game another try. If you encounter any further issues or have any questions, please reach out directly, and we will do our best to assist you promptly.

Thank you for your patience and understanding.

### 2/5 — Disappointing

*2025-07-28*

This isn’t ready for prime time - there are visuals that are missing or shrunken at times (meeple is small/axe is not present) and only going to main menu and then going back to live game will they appear. Also, as mentioned before, AI rolls disproportionately high. I’ve seen two meeples produce 4 wood consecutive times. I wanted to like it but the first app was better.

### 2/5 — App needs work

*2025-01-09*

I used to play the previous app for the game and loved it so I was excited to see the game back in the App Store. The previous app was streamlined and easy to see. The app art here is great but so expansive that it can be hard to see for example the cost of the huts can be almost impossible to read. Ai grading is inelegant at best. Medium difficulty seems mostly to roll better. I’ve been playing for several days hoping to find ways around the app flaws but there are so many the game looses its playability.

**Developer response:** Hello LaloOwen! Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback with us. We truly value hearing from our players, as it helps us make the game even better.

Regarding the animations taking a bit longer and your screen dimming while waiting, you can actually skip active animations by pressing the Confirm Button during the animation.

We’ve also passed along your feedback to our development team for further discussion. If there’s anything else you’d like to discuss or suggest, feel free to reach out anytime! :)

The app art here is great but so expansive that it can be hard to see for example the cost of the huts can be almost impossible to read. Animations take some long my screen starts to dim while waiting for them to finish. Unlike in the previous app you can’t tell when boats and huts are being used up limiting end game strategy. Ai grading is inelegant at best. Medium difficulty seems mostly to roll better. ### 2/5 — Needs work

*2024-04-02*

I’ve loved this game. I’m glad a new developer brought it back. However, the multi-game is very wonky. I hope they fix it.

On a side note, on a multi-player game, you can’t see the other player’s plays, so you’re just sitting there waiting for the turn to end.

**Developer response:** Thanks for your review! We have recently released the game and are now gathering the user feedback, so that we can improve the game in the future updates. Stay tuned!

### 3/5 — Une bonne application mais….

*2025-06-29*

### 3/5 — Medium AI rolls disproportionately higher than human

*2024-09-18*

I love this game and enjoyed playing it at first with an “easy” level AI. But when I progressed to the medium level AI, I started to notice that the AI rolls ridiculously high numbers in comparison to my rolls. I have the impression that the level of difficulty is determined simply by programming the AI to be much luckier, which takes the fun out of the game for me because I can never come close to beating it with my frequent low rolls.

### 5/5 — Super gemacht

*2026-05-20*

### 5/5 — Fun and Relaxing

*2024-11-05*

So great to have Stone Age back on the iPad. The graphics are detailed and smooth. The background audio is great. Overall, the gameplay is slick and well worth it if you like the board game.

**Developer response:** Thank you for your feedback - it's great to hear that you're enjoying Stone Age: Digital Edition! 🍖

### 5/5 — Almost perfect but no turn notifications. *FIXED*

EDIT: as of 10/12/24, notification bug was fixed. 5 stars!

**Developer response:** Hello! The issue has been resolved, and the bug fix is now in place. Everything should function smoothly, so please try again and let us know if it works as expected. :)

### 5/5 — So glad this is back on the iPad

*2024-06-30*

Thank you for bringing my #1 favorite board game back to the iPad. The game is spot on as far as cards, rules, etc. but the interface is super clunky. There was another company that made an iOS version of this game years ago, they had it right. The inteface was so simple and not at all overwhelming. I was so excited this was back on the AppStore but it seems so complicated compared to the other app. Hey, I’m just glad it’s back but look into that, the other app was soooo user friendly and this one is so congested and complicated looking. And make it look more like the board game board.

**Developer response:** Thank you for your feedback! We're thrilled to hear that you enjoy having your favorite board game back on the iPad. We want you to know that we are actively listening to players' feedback. Since the initial release, we have made several improvements to enhance the game's interface and overall user experience. We value your input and are committed to making the game as enjoyable as possible. Please stay tuned for updates, and thank you for your support!

### 5/5 — Recommend

*2024-04-15*

Very faithful and smooth adaptation of the classic board game. I’ve played against the AI maybe 50 times and it works very well. The easy AI makes some dumb mistakes, as you’d expect, and the medium and hard AIs are good competition. So happy to have this digital edition of one of my favorite games!

**Developer response:** Thank you for your review! We're thrilled to hear that you're enjoying Stone Age: Digital Edition! 🥳

### 5/5 — Fun and relaxing

### 5/5 — Another great adaptation

*2024-04-01*

Great gameplay, visual and sound/music are pretty good too. Normal AI actually pose a challenge. Would love to have the expansion one day too.

**Developer response:** Thank you for your feedback - we are glad to hear that you are enjoying the Stone Age: Digital Edition experience!

### 5/5 — Awesome digital version of a great game!

*2024-03-30*

ACRAM really did a fantastic job on creating a digital version of this really fun game. From the fun animations of the tribes people, to great in game music, it’s solid. Every game lets you try different placement strategies. It keeps making you want to play again and again!

**Developer response:** Thank you for your feedback! We are thrilled to hear that you enjoyed the game. We wish you endless fun with Stone Age: Digital Edition. 🍖

### 5/5 — Great game!… just don’t forget your tools!

*2024-03-28*

I’ve been waiting for this game, my friends and I play the board game often and love it … this totally lives up to it! The tutorial is thorough, by the time you play through the game that first time you’ve got it down pat. The only glitch I saw was the lack of explanation about tools 🤷🏻‍♀️ The functionality is there on the dice rolls, but the buttons are small and very easy to miss. I knew how the tools were supposed to work and knew to look for it. (tools each provide an extra dice pip if your roll is short, so sometimes a saver when getting resources) . Other than that great game! I know I’ll be playing it often 👌

**Developer response:** Hi,

Thank you very much for your feedback on the game. We are truly grateful for your purchase and delighted to hear that you'll be returning to Stone Age: Digital Edition. 🍖

### 4/5 — Really enjoy it but cannot win against AI

*2026-05-11*

I love Stone Age and was delighted when it was relaunched as an app. The graphics and animations are great and really add to the game. However, despite whatever strategy I use and whatever score I get (even 75+ more than AI) I cannot win. Is there a strategy/scoring rule I’m missing that means the computer wins even with a much lower score?
