## What is Stone by Stone?

Stone by Stone is a private reading journal for iPhone and iPad. Save a passage, write what it meant to you, and place a stone. A stone comes from a reflection, not from finishing a book, so the shape of a year grows from what truly stayed with you.

- Add books by searching the catalog
- Keep shelves for reading, read, want to read, or set aside
- Capture a passage by photographing a printed page, with text recognized on your device
- Type a passage when you want to enter it by hand
- Write notes in your own words and revisit them later
- See the year gather as a small balanced stack on a hillside

Everything stays on your device. There is no account, no feed, no ads, no tracking, and no notifications. By default, nothing is shared.

This is not a social reading app or a productivity system. It does not ask for streaks, badges, or a perfect record. It keeps a quiet trace of where reading met your life.

Stone by Stone now sits properly on iPad. Text, book covers and the stone tower scale to the screen, and notes keep a comfortable line length instead of running the full width of the display.

Also fixed: on a longer reading year, the title on the celebration screen could overlap the tower.
