Then they now kicked me from being able to even log in. I now need to pay $99 just to sign back in. I now feel like my personal information could be stollen because I have no way to delete anything they have on me. **Developer response:** Please contact us at support@stonks.com so we can fix this quickly. Just reach out and we’ll take care of it. ### 1/5 — Cannot cancel *2025-11-15* New update not allowing me to log in or cancel. **Developer response:** Hi there, sorry about the trouble. Please email us at support@stonks.com so we can help you log in and cancel if needed. We’ll fix this right away. ### 1/5 — Could be a scam *2025-10-30* Offered me “free money” at TwitchCon. Except you have to provide your SSN, they open a EIN and credit card in your name without really letting you know. And then to get this “free money” out of their account, you have to connect your bank account. Which doesn’t actually work. So I am left with a credit card I don’t want, an EIN I don’t want, someone having my SSN, and still no free money. Oh and I the “deduction” part of the app can easily lead to fraud. Just lets me put in whatever and has this as “savings”. Not how it works. Also they are actively giving incorrect tax advice on their social channels. **Developer response:** Hi there, We wanted to clear up a few things to avoid any confusion: - We never create a business or issue a debit card without your explicit consent. - During onboarding, all required disclosures and confirmations are clearly shown in-app — nothing is created automatically. - Your SSN is used only for identity verification, as required by U.S. federal banking (KYC/AML) regulations. If you haven’t received your TwitchCon payout, it’s typically because the account isn’t fully verified — often due to an age or ID mismatch. Once verification is complete, funds are released immediately.
