### 5/5 — Simple but excellent

Very easy to use

### 5/5 — Great App

*2019-05-09*

This is a very easy and friendly app to use to record your daily stool. I started using is because I met with a gastroenterologist due to my frequent upset stomach and he asked for my 2 week stool history. This app helped me do that and now I continue to use it to monitor my stomach. Takes less that 10 seconds to record. Much better than having to do it myself in notes.

### 5/5 — Great quick tracking app

*2019-03-17, version 1.4.2*

This is the third poop app I’ve used and it’s definitely my favorite. It’s quick and easy to record what I need to keep track of

### 5/5 — Easy, user friendly app.

*2019-01-25*

Love the fact that it’s not cumbersome to use. It can be tailored for individual use.

### 5/5 — Very useful

*2018-12-13, version 1.4.2*

And not intrusive like many free apps these days.

### 5/5 — This is the app you’re looking for.

*2018-10-13, version 1.4.2*

You don’t have to be a brain surgeon or a proctologist to figure out how to edit or use this app. Easy interface and easy to edit in case you forgot to bring your phone with you. I’ve tried three other GI tracking apps and this one is staying on my phone the other is have all been deleted. Trust me, you’ll really go for this one. Butt, try the other ones at the same time and you will see for yourself.

### 5/5 — Bowel Movement Log

*2018-08-05, version 1.4.2*

This app is simple to use and classifies your movement to track for changes. I highly recommend this app.

### 5/5 — Easy Tracking

*2018-07-22*

I love the app! It makes keeping track quick easy. It’s very helpful.

### 5/5 — Very useful app

*2018-06-22*

Being able to track the information has been very useful, as well as eye opening. I can look at the data & tell when I am not getting enough fiber in my diet.

### 4/5 — Great, free way to track BMs

*2018-05-19*

Nice, free app. No in app purchases before you can use. They even remind you if you forget to finish logging or haven’t logged in a few days. Only wish there was a way to export/import once you switch phones or access on another device. They do allow you to export data but only for the past month and I’m not sure how you integrate.

## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated)

### 1/5 — Unethical move to make you buy the Pro Version.

*2016-01-13*

Nowhere in the app description or the app itself does it say this app limits you to 20 logs. After you hit that limit, it tells you it will delete the older entries first to register new ones.

The free version of this app is very limited as it already is, not to mention that artificial limits like this one are not allowed under the App Store's Guidelines.

I was gonna get the pro version eventually, but if the developers feel this basically unethical move is needed to make users migrate, I'd rather migrate to another app. We never know what they may pull later.

### 2/5 — What Happened?

*2023-04-11, version 1.4.2*

I paid to have the full version however keeps crashing when I try to open it. So I down loaded the lite version, will open but when I try to do anything it crashes. Has been great until now. Desperately needs a patch/bug fix.

### 2/5 — Stopped working

*2022-11-27, version 1.4.2*

Good app but just stopped working one day and i couldn’t save my data so I lost it when I reinstalled the app. Even then some features weren’t working anymore, so had to give up. Shame.

### 2/5 — Not worth it - too few entries

*2015-11-06, version 1.2.3*

I downloaded this getting ready for a physical in a couple weeks to show history but the app only allowed 20 entries. This really isn't worth it since most people who go to the trouble to log their bowel movements are doing it to show history of movements and why. And no, I am not paying for an app for something I would only use occasionally.

### 3/5 — Add Apple Watch Gap in the Market: Support and I will definitely pay for the full version

*2019-03-24, version 1.4.2*

Please add and Apple Watch app for the full version and i will definitely pay for the full version. There is a single one for Apple Watch i. The Uk. which is poor.

I’m sure you will recoup the development cost very quickly.

### 3/5 — Useful but limited

*2017-02-27, version 1.3*

Handy little app to record basic information, but unable to change settings to activate detail mode.

### 3/5 — Good but could be great

*2016-10-10*

I like the statistics that this app provides but they could learn from their competition and also allow the user to take photos. Further analysis points could be added and for bonus points what about integration with a food tracking app?

### 4/5 — Not just for Elderly People

*2020-03-04, version 1.4.2*

Let’s just say that this app is great for everyone, but especially for elderly people who can forget if they have had a daily BM or not. It’s all there on one page - your own personal BM diary!!

### 4/5 — Great app, but needs one thing...

*2019-09-29*

Very easy to use. Nice graph for visualization. However, one thing that is important to see is not just the number of BM’s, but the cumulative quantity each day. Who cares if you go three times per day, if you only pass one inch of stool each time. It’s just as important to know how much. It’s not hard, within a good enough degree of accuracy, to estimate the length of each stool, whether a single “log” or a broken up stool. I actually track this on a graph using excel. App creators, if you’re listening, add this important metric to the app. I’ll be searching to see if other apps have this. If they do, it’s important enough for me to switch apps.

### 4/5 — Great app for free!

*2018-06-30*

Love this app for tracking BMs. Automatic end time for logging is useful as well. Only wish there was a calendar view (kind of like Flo for those who track cycles). I would love to see that at a glance.

## Most praised reviews (10 highest-rated)

### 5/5 — Very useful and helpful information

*2025-01-16*

Excellent

### 5/5 — Reliably works as advertised

*2023-04-11*

I had a stroke. I have persistent sphincter muscle clenching and my forgetfulness is now even more pronounced than before the cardiovascular incident.

This app helps me monitor bowel movement activity & maintain my lower bowel well-being.

The app interface doesn’t hamper my record keeping; it’s a straight forward, simple & reliable user experience.

### 5/5 — Excellent app

*2023-03-08, version 1.4.2*

Now, I can track how often I have bowel movements and that helps me a lot health-wise.

### 5/5 — Straightforward, educational, with helpful stats!

*2023-01-28*

I don’t usually have regular bowel movements and even with drinking over 100 oz of water I’m trying to improve this while I’m still in my first trimester. Learning about what healthy BMs should look like, and can use the journal to track how to keep my gi happy overtime.

### 5/5 — Very helpful

*2022-08-07*
