### 4/5 — Stool Log

*2018-05-12*

This is an App. You can record as much or as little information as you wish. Very good statistics.

### 4/5 — Useful app

*2018-04-06, version 1.4.2*

For those who need to keep records of this, it’s convenient and easy to use. The only issue I have with this app is that I enter in data and it’s missing the next time I open the app. I just assume it’s operator error.

### 4/5 — Good app but needs a little more info to track

*2017-11-15, version 1.4.2*

After trying the lite version I upgraded even though it’s not perfect. However, the general ideas of the app are great for me to take to my Dr.
The most important thing the app needs is a way to track the amount of stool. I use a scale of 1/10 with 5 being the average amount listed in my notes. Also, there needs to be some way to check off if a group of BM’s, several in a row, is just one long session of a diarrhea BM, all within so many hours, like 12 or 24hrs. Also, the choice for “weight” doesn’t make sense to me & needs to be defined better.

### 4/5 — Why only "-ish"?

*2017-07-18, version 1.4.2*

I would have given the app 5 stars but don't understand why a Type7 in the app describes a stool that is all liquid and then when you use that the app stores the entry as being "diarrhea-ish". It should sat "diarrhea".

### 5/5 — Great

*2017-06-09, version 1.3*

With Hashimotos I love being able to track so easily

### 5/5 — Perfect

*2017-05-08*

Does everything well. You can edit times and can add notes. Well done.

### 5/5 — Excellent App

*2017-04-19, version 1.3*

Very good app. Easy to keep track of my daily GI issues

### 5/5 — Excellent app and support.

*2017-04-19, version 1.3*

The app is great. It helps me keep track of my own health and share information with my doctor. They reply quickly to my emails when I write with a question and consider my suggestions. They also write when there's an update that addresses a suggestion I made. I appreciate good customer service.
The only thing I'd add to the app is a reminder of when it has been a day or two without an entry but they've told me they're working on it.

### 4/5 — An excellent app for monitoring bowel movements!

*2017-03-19, version 1.3*

I'm really enjoying this app. It's simple and quick and has most of the features I was looking for. I'd been keeping a log of health habits on a clipboard and have been trying to find apps to replace it. I consider our BMs to be a great indicator of the condition of our gut flora and how well things are moving along, so to say... I was looking for an app to keep up with each BMs Bristol rating, color, amount, time of day and which days. I'm a visual person and also wanted a graph... while the graph needs work, this app does virtually all of what I need... wish someone would create an app that graphed sleep, food macros, weight, activity, sleep, and amount of sunlight so that one could overlay the graphs and see the full picture... and perhaps even causality!

### 5/5 — Vast improvement

*2017-02-21*

I reviewed the previous version of the app and suggested a few improvements. I'm pleased to say that my voice was listened to and the app is great. Very handy to see new charts and stats.
I could still do with a 'previous 4 weeks' pie chart just to see how things have been going recently as I suffer from Ulcerative Colitis so like to keep track.
Overall a great improvement to a great app.

### 5/5 — Best App to Monitor Bowel Movements

*2016-12-14, version 1.2.4*

If you have issues with elimination and it's important to you to track your progress with respects to the quality and frequency of BMs, then this is the app to buy. No other app has the level of detail and great user interface this one has. Also, the developer is very responsive to questions about the app.

## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated)

### 1/5 — No longer runs following latest iOS update

*2020-11-26*

Won’t open after the latest iOS update (nov 2020) - please fix!

### 2/5 — Helpful app

*2018-02-14, version 1.4.2*

Very helpful app and worth the small cost. It could use some tweaking, like adding pain levels and maybe some custom fields. I use the app to manage severe hemorrhoids and it would be great to customize it for my needs more.

### 2/5 — What's the point?

*2016-06-20*

Disappointed. I purchased this app to log stools and compare but there is no graphs options. Or cannot attach pictures. Add a graph and picture options.

### 3/5 — Good but export not working

*2017-06-22, version 1.4*

Good app. Does what it's supposed to for logging. However the export is not working for me. I would like this to give to my nutritionist.

### 3/5 — Good App, Could Be Better

*2016-05-20, version 1.2.3*

The app crashes every time I try to close it. I have to switch to a different application, and then close it out while it's not open to actually close it.

Also, it would be nice to have a way to self-rate BMs. I'm using this application as I battle c. diff and it would be helpful to mark them or color code them or something.

Other than that, good app. I appreciate the passcode and the discreet icon. (:

### 4/5 — Does the job

*2020-06-28*

Simple to use and provides a clear history.

### 4/5 — Great!

*2019-12-28*

Very helpful!

### 4/5 — Stool Tracker

*2019-04-12, version 1.4.2*

This app is one of the better apps. To make this app better, I would suggest the developer add bright red as a color and change the symbol for dark red (blood) to a warning symbol.

### 4/5 — Easy

*2019-04-06*

I find this app. Very easy to use and to edit thank you !

### 4/5 — Nice app

*2018-06-23*

This is a great app, it would be nice to be able to edit the end time, if you have forgot an entry from the day before. It would be even better if you to add them from your Apple Watch, I find this app helpful

## Most praised reviews (10 highest-rated)

### 5/5 — Excellent App, No Ads

*2024-07-13*

This app deservers 5 stars alone just for not having "poop" in its name. It's an excellently designed app, and could also be very useful if you need to record such info for your doctor.

### 5/5 — Wonderful app

*2022-02-20, version 1.4.2*

I’ve used this app for years. It’s very user friendly and I can see patterns develop. I can jot down my food intake and medications. Very much recommend this app.

### 5/5 — Easy way to track your health!

*2020-10-01*

After cancer treatments and various medications, I needed something that was quick & easy to use to track what was happening to discuss with my doctor.
This app does what it says it does.

After using the free app for a while I found that it was good value for money so I decided to upgrade to the pro version - unfortunately my prior tracking stayed in the lite version- it would have been better to keep it all together.
Maybe that’s something that the developers could improve upon?

Other than that, this is a great solid app with a real need & purpose!
Well done developers! 👏

### 5/5 — Great App

*2020-06-17*

Having IBS can really get a person down. This app helps track when you go, which can be good if you need to get help from your doctor

### 5/5 — Do The Doo

*2019-12-21, version 1.4.2*

Great app! I’ve been recording my bowel movements for a week now and I love that I can make my own notes and it’s super simple to use! Highly recommend it if you’re about keeping close track of all the aspects to your wellness!

### 5/5 — Perfect for anyone with GI issues

*2019-10-08, version 1.4.2*

This a great little app for quantifying GI issues. It is simple to use and the data collected makes it easy to provide accurate answers to your GI doc. It is easy to add notes, such as food you’ve eaten, new medications, etc. A great feature is that the notes are visible in the list view. I did upgrade, and I do recommend this to anyone who has any type of GI issue, or is trying to figure out what may be causing issues.

One feature I would like to see is the ability to select a date range for the reports. Also, I think the averages are calculated on the total number of days elapsed since the first entry, not the total number of entries.

### 5/5 — Excellent app

*2019-08-09*

Has helped me to keep track of what’s happening or not happening to give to my doctor, I really like one day I forgot to put in a finish time and received a message a few hours later asking if I was still sitting there 😄

### 5/5 — Great fit

*2019-04-11*

Does the job well. Needs a “size” field as well I reckon but comments field will do in meantime. Quality not so relevant to me vs quantity lol

### 5/5 — App

*2017-08-26, version 1.4.2*

Great app. I'm glad I upgraded.

### 5/5 — When's the last time I pooped?

*2017-07-26, version 1.4.2*

Now I know! The next time I see my GI doc I'll be able to answer his questions exactly! Great simple app, and I love being able to lock it down with touch id. Nobody else needs to know my poop habits :)
