## What is Stoop NYC?

Keep your search organized. Stoop gives your household one shared place to collect listings, agree on what matters, and decide together.

Someone drops a StreetEasy link in the group chat. Someone else finds a place on Zillow. Three days later nobody remembers which one had laundry. Stoop keeps every listing, every opinion, and every trade-off in one place, so deciding feels easy instead of exhausting.

HOW IT WORKS
1. Paste a listing. Drop a URL from StreetEasy, Zillow, Apartments.com, RentHop, or Craigslist and Stoop pulls the details onto one clean card: price, beds, baths, square footage, address, and photos linked straight from the source.
2. Agree on what matters. Set your criteria together, up front — weight the ones you care about most, and mark your dealbreakers.
3. Everyone weighs in. Rate each place privately before you see anyone else's take, so every voice counts — not just the loudest one.
4. See it clearly. Stoop blends everyone's input, ranks your list, and lays the trade-offs out side by side.

BUILT FOR DECIDING TOGETHER
- Shared priorities set once, up front, before anyone falls in love with a place.
- Rate privately, then reveal: honest input without the pressure.
- A compare table that highlights the best rent and the best overall fit.
- A map with every place pinned and color-coded by how it ranks, plus door-to-door commute times to the destinations you choose.
- Threaded comments with @mentions and a live activity feed, visible only to the people you invite.
- A simple status pipeline that tracks the search: interested, toured, applied, got it.
- Notifications when your people add or rate a place.
- Full-screen photo viewing and an offline mode that works on the subway. Score, edit, and update listings, and your changes sync when you're back online.

PRIVATE BY DESIGN
- We only ingest listings you paste. No scraping, no crawling.
- Listing photos are linked from the source, never re-hosted.
- Analytics are configured to mask what you type: names, emails, addresses, notes.
- No ads. No data brokers. We never sell your data.

Stoop is free. Starting with NYC rentals and for-sale listings, expanding to more cities.

### 1/5 — Buggy

*2026-07-25*

Does not accept links directly from StreetEasy app (you have to copy the link from the StreetEasy app to somewhere and then just copy the hyperlink - annoying extra step that could be solved).

Units you add don’t save reliably.

No delete account option!

**Developer response:** Thanks for taking the time to write this out, and sorry Stoop was rough around the edges. All three things you flagged are fixed in the update that just went live:

- StreetEasy links now import directly from the StreetEasy app or the browser, so no more copying the link somewhere else first.
- Saving added units is reliable now.
- You can delete your account right from Settings (thanks for the push on that one).

More broadly, the app is a lot steadier across the board, it pulls information and photos from listings far more consistently, and it now works fully offline, so your whole hunt is there on the subway and syncs the moment you're back on signal.

If you update and give it another try, I'd love to hear what you think.

### 1.2 — 2026-07-09

Stoop has a new home: stoopnyc.app.

This update makes Stoop feel truly at home on your iPhone. There's a new tab bar for Home, Dashboard, and Hunts, smoother transitions, and haptic feedback throughout. And you can now send a listing to Stoop straight from Zillow, StreetEasy, or Safari using the share sheet. It lands in your hunt already parsed and ready to score.

You can run more than one hunt at a time and switch between them from the new Hunts tab. Scoring got smarter too: mark what matters most as a priority or a dealbreaker and it shapes each place's score. Signing in by email is easier as well, just type the code from the message instead of hunting for the link.
