## What is Stop Nail Biting?

You've tried to stop biting your nails before. This time you'll actually see it working.

Nonyxa is a one-minute daily check-in for nail biters and skin pickers who are done. Photograph your hands, swipe each fingertip clean or damaged, and that's it, you're done for the day.

Here's why every attempt before this one failed: nails grow about a millimeter a week. You can't see a millimeter a week. So ten days in your hands look exactly the same, your brain calls it pointless, and you're chewing again by Friday. Nonyxa fixes that feedback loop. Two days side by side and the growth is right there, on your own hands, impossible to argue with.

And you can't cheat it. Every other tracker lets you tap "clean day" at 11pm and move on. Try lying to a photo of your own hands.

The habit runs on autopilot, you're three nails deep before you even notice. One honest minute a day looking at your fingertips drags it out of autopilot. Show up daily and the streaks stack up on their own: days you checked in, days you stayed clean.

If you bite your nails, pick your skin, or found the word BFRB during a 2am search years ago, this was built for you.

WHAT YOU GET

Daily check-in. One photo, ten swipes, done inside a minute.
Clean or damaged, per fingertip. No self-reporting, no fudging it at bedtime.
Side-by-side compare. Any two days, on your own hands.
Two streaks. Days you checked in, days you stayed clean.
Eight milestones, from Iron to Aurora.
Insights. Counts drawn from your own record: the weekday you slip most, what moved since your last check-in.
Works for skin picking too, and for hangnails, torn cuticles, and nibbling.
Kids can use it with a parent running the check-in alongside them.

Called onychophagia in the literature, if you ever looked it up at 2am. Nail biting, fingernail chewing, hangnail picking, cuticle damage, all of it.

No bitter polish. No gloves. No app that asks you to promise you'll quit and then takes your word for it. One honest photo a day, and strong nails you can watch come back.

Tonight's photo is your baseline. Two weeks from now, it's your before-and-after. Nonyxa is free to start, so take the first photo tonight.

Insights: what your record shows.

Nonyxa now reads your check-in history and reports what it finds. One
reading names the fingertip with the most damaged days. One counts the
damaged days for a fingertip across your latest check-ins. Others count
patterns: damaged days on the same weekday, clean runs that break on the
same day number, and slips after a missed check-in.

Every reading is a count that you can compare against your own calendar.
Nonyxa does not diagnose you.

Readings appear after a check-in, on the home screen, and on the new
Insights page. Some are free. The readings that name the fingertip are
part of Pro.

This release also names each streak on the home screen and gives the day
rings and week rings more space. Day two of the walkthrough has a new
step, and the walkthrough now describes the widget.
