I paid more for late hours yet the app doesn’t work properly, while I’m outside the door it show I’m not near the door. I had to call up customer service for access. It’s hopeless

**Developer response:** Hi sevi@93, the app works properly and relies heavily on the physical setup at your self-storage facility — specifically how the devices and facility address are configured in the web access platform. That said, your geofence location may not always be 100% accurate, or the facility setup may be incorrect. If you're unable to see the gates in the app, there's an option to retrieve your access code and enter it directly on the gates. In these kinds of situations, contacting your support team is the best option.

Doesn’t function unless you grant it full access to location and allow notifications, I’ve never seen an app like this. It’s an embarrassing piece of software.

**Developer response:** Hi Teifell, thank you for the feedback. Please be aware that StorID requires permissions such as location, notifications, and Bluetooth to ensure a smooth user experience. The app depends heavily on the physical devices installed at the facility, and all of these permissions are required to establish proper communication between the app and the hardware setup. If you decline any of them, the app is unable to function properly. Please keep this in mind.

System is slow, what is more annoying!!!!!! It keeps logging you out at random times through out the day .

Could you please be more specific about what "system slow" means — what exactly goes wrong while you're interacting with the app? Our development team is laser-focused on customer feedback and works to address the pain points raised.

Regarding being logged out of the app, we recently rolled out an enhancement for this, so it shouldn't happen anymore. Could you please verify and let us know?

List of issues: 

The remember me button doesn’t work at all, each time after reopening the app it must be signed into again.

Once signed into the app then doesn’t detect the user in the correct location forcing the app to be restarted to be used. 

The app once signed into consistently pulls location data, regardless of the users location meaning it must be closed manually to stop it from remaining open in the background. 

Have the devs actually ever used this app themselves?

Regarding "Remember Me," it only remembers your identifier (phone number or email), so you'll still need to enter your password after logging out. As for being asked to sign in again, this usually happens when you're using multiple devices, since only one session is allowed per user at a time — when sessions overlap, one of them is terminated. And on geolocation, the app depends heavily on the physical device setup within the facility and the access platform your operators manage, so this setting is required for the app to work properly.

App never opens on the first time, always have to close it out and reopen it for it to work.

I was trying to set up a shared key; while it says the status is active, my friend can’t see anything.

Also, another time I’m trying to add a friend with UK number, but it keeps switching to US number

Also, when you say "my friend can't see anything," could you please specify exactly what is visible when trying to open the app? Regarding the UK/US phone number, when creating a New Key Share Access, you can choose the exact phone number from the dropdown - both the United Kingdom and the United States are available. More description about the issue is highly appreciated by the development team

The app doesn’t need to geolocate for hours in the background and the developers seem incapable of understanding why that’s an issue.

Even with “only when using the app” it will run in the background. So don’t give me the whole “we need this geofencing for user experience” nonsense. Just get a location when the app is open at the storage unit and call it done?
