## What is Storieta?

Bring your own EPUB or PDF, or open a free classic: Dracula, Sherlock Holmes, Alice, Pride and Prejudice and many more. As you read, scenes appear from the passage in front of you. Characters keep the same face from the first chapter to the last.

Some classics are also complete comics, with every chapter adapted and lettered. Read the first pages of any of them free.

FEATURES

### 1.0.9 — 2026-09-30

- Pick how your books look when you start: Storybook or Anime, and whether you read the book or the comic.
- The reading companion is tidier, with shorter recaps, the cast shown with portraits, and a smoother way to flip through a chapter's scenes.
- Catalog comics show you what the rest costs before the preview ends.
- Fixes for comics that paused partway, chapter numbering in front matter, and a few scene and comic generation issues.

### 1.0.8 — 2026-09-17

- Pro now opens every comic in the library
- Prefer a single story? Buy one comic edition and keep it for good. Both options now sit together on one screen.
- Scenes drawn ahead of you now appear on their own when you reach them in the book.
- Your balance in Settings now counts against everything Pro lets you carry over, not just one month's allowance.
- Smoother purchase recovery on the comic unlock screen, and other small fixes.

### 1.0.7 — 2026-09-10

Smoother scrolling, improved Arabic typography, and simpler illustration controls. We’ve also refined character maps, recaps, and page navigation.

### 1.0.6 — 2026-09-04

- Storieta now runs natively on iPad
- Fixes for reader loading, and for keeping the app usable when the server changes underneath it.

### 1.0.5 — 2026-09-02

- Scenes and comics now open full screen and turn a page at a time.
- A comic you unlock from the catalog stays unlocked, on every device you read on.

- Fixes for books that would not open, and a steadier first session.
