I’ve also reviewed a few others, (Fallout Shelter, 911 Operator, etc.) But today I’m here to talk about a much less popular game that’s COMPLETELY UNDERRATED. Never before have I reviewed an idle game or clicker game, but here goes. I’m first gonna list the factors that make this game so good. The Meme: Based off the Raid Area 51 memes, which gained serious popularity early 2020, this game creates a fun playable meme for it, which never gets old! The Characters: With AMAZING and HILARIOUS meme characters such as Karens, Kyles, Ninja Runners, and Anti Vaccination Kids. Each character has a charmingly funny description and quote, and their attack and movement animations are funny too. The Upgrades: Each character has the same types of upgrades (Health, Speed, Damage, Spawn Rate, Fame Spawn Rate), but each character type starts out with a different power level of each stat. Kyles start out super slow but with high damage, Ninja Runner has low HP and high speed, etc. This makes spending your Fame on upgrades all about strategy. The Gameplay: Your army, which grows in numbers with every tap (So does your Fame), must clear “Areas” leading up to “Area 51” by charging across the screen to get to a fence with armed guards behind it, who shoot lasers at your army. The lasers are rapid fire and super high damage, and pick off your guys very quickly! Your guys do a certain amount of damage to the fence when they reach it, with each one doing whatever it’s character type’s damage stat is. It takes a while to break the fence, and it doesn’t help that the enemies employed stolen UFO ships to abduct people in your army as they charge! You have to tap the UFOs as they pass along the screen to destroy them, and you will get around 10K Fame per destroyed UFO. Break the fence, move to the next Area. Overall, great game, I’m on Area 25 myself and I only played for 2 hours yesterday, first for an hour right after I downloaded it, then for another hour on the couch later. Just got on today about 20 minutes ago, it’s 9:00 AM! Quick suggestions: Add Cutscenes: Every few Areas you should get a cutscene, or like whenever you get a new guy, so like say you get to a new Area with different surroundings, then you see like a cutscene of your army seeing something in the distance and marching towards it, finding out it’s rows of depots or whatever those buildings are after you unlock Karens, and when you beat Area 51, you get to see a cutscene of one of every unit type inside of a bunker there, unlocking a cryogenic pod and releasing an alien. Add Weapons: We got alien tech fragments, the enemy has alien tech guns and UFOs, we should be able to have some alien guns by using alien tech fragments to craft them, and have some guys of ours shoot the guards while running, picking 1 guard off in 5 shots. Anyway, devs, AMAZING GAME, keep up the good work!
