The update, while the graphics aren't as crisp on my Air as I'd like them to be, is a welcome fit on the latest iOS. Don't let the cutesy graphics fool you, this gets pretty challenging. Good controls and nicely designed levels. The mechanics are a bit different than a standard platformer, so don't let that throw you off if it feels weird at first. It's worth getting used to. Finished all 40 regular levels, the 10 bonus levels, and the challenge levels. There are endless "survival" levels too but they seemed kind of pointless. If this game was a bit longer, maybe with some bosses and more of a story, it could be epic. My issue is, as I’m rating the ‘new’ version, I’m only going to give it 2 stars because in 5yrs they’ve done bugger all with the game. They could easily have developed a second game or at least added some new levels, but no, just a ‘remastered’ version which looks pretty much identical to the original. I’ll probably play it again (fourth time i think) as it’s such a good game. I’m just disappointed that no additional levels at the very least have been created in the last five years. I don’t think I’m asking too much am I?! ;-) ### 2/5 — Not for platformer fans *2011-06-22, version 1.2* Floaty platformer controls are usually inaccurate and unsatisfying. So basing a game entirely around them seems like a poor idea. You'll struggle to land where you want and the movement style keeps the pace of the game v slow. Also disappointed by on-screen D-Pad, they never work and are awful to play with. Alongside the floaty movement I often feel like I'm getting no response at all. Should consider alternative method. 180 degree rotation also not available mid-game which is a simple feature to include and important if players are using headphones (the jack gets in the way). ### 2/5 — Lame! *2011-05-27, version 1.1* I want my money back!
