## What is Storm Sensei?

Storm Sensei watches the sky so you don't have to.

Built for golfers, Storm Sensei tracks real-time lightning, storm, and weather conditions at your exact location — not just your general area — and warns you before a storm becomes a threat.

How it works
Storm Sensei continuously checks your location against live lightning detection, weather radar, and National Weather Service alerts. Our AI reads the data and tells you what's happening in plain English, so you know exactly what to do. Every alert level is set by a hard-wired safety system underneath, using concrete rules like strike distance and storm speed. The AI can only add urgency, never quietly understate it.

Tested, not hollow marketing noise
We independently backtested our detection engine against 295 real historical storms across 5 US regions and 7 years before ever publishing a result — including where it fell short. Read the full methodology and results at stormsensei.com.

Built for the course
- Real-time lightning and storm alerts based on your precise location
- Clear WATCH / WARNING / DANGER alert tiers, so you know how serious it is at a glance
- Plain-language explanations, not just a radar map and a bunch of numbers to interpret yourself
- Alerts reach you during your round, even with your phone in your pocket
- Simple course search or GPS-based location
